وبحسب موقع «football365»، فإن توماس فرانك، مدرب توتنهام، اتصل مباشرة بإيفان توني بشأن إمكانية الانتقال إلى السبيرز في يناير على سبيل الإعارة، مستغلاً العلاقة الجيدة التي تربطه باللاعب من فترة تواجدهما معاً في نادي برينتفورد.
وأضاف أن تشيلسي يضع إيفان توني ضمن حساباته أيضاً لتعزيز خط هجومه في النصف الثاني من الموسم الحالي.
