استعاد فريق توتنهام نغمة الانتصارات بعد فوزه على مضيفه ليدز يونايتد بنتيجة 2-1 في اللقاء الذي أقيم عصر اليوم (السبت) ضمن منافسات الجولة السابعة من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز.
أحرز هدفي توتنهام كل من: ماتيس تيل (د: 23)، محمد قدوس (د: 57)، فيما جاء هدف ليدز يونايتد عن طريق نوا أوكافور (د: 34).
شهد اللقاء سيطرة مبكرة لفريق ليدز الذي كاد أن يتقدم بالنتيجة بعد أن أرسل شون لونجستاف كرة عالية ليلعبها جو رودون برأسه في القائم الخلفي، لينتفض فريق توتنهام ويحرز هدفه الأول بعد أن مرر رودريغو بنتانكور الكرة إلى محمد قدوس الذي مررها بدوره إلى ماتيوس تيل الذي تقدم إلى منطقة الجزاء وأطلق تسديدة ارتطمت بالمدافع باسكال سترويك وتجاوزت الحارس كارل دارلو لتسكن الشباك كهدف أول لتوتنهام (د: 23)، ولكن سرعان ما عاد أصحاب الأرض وسدد بريندن ارونسون كرة قوية تصدى لها حارس توتنهام غولييلمو فيكاريو ليكملها انو اوكافور في الشباك كهدف أول وتعادل لليدز يونايتد (د: 34)، وفي الشوط الثاني عاد توتنهام للسيطرة مجدداً وتمكن محمد قدوس من إحراز أول هدف له بقميص توتنهام بعد أن استلم الكرة من زميله بيدرو بورو ويسدد كرة قوية لتسكن الشباك كهدف ثانٍ لتوتنهام (د: 57)، ويصبح قدوس بذلك الهداف رقم 179 لفريق توتنهام في الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز والأول من غانا، ولينتهي اللقاء بفوز توتنهام بهدفين لهدف.
وبهذا الفوز تمكن توتنهام من البقاء دون هزيمة في 7 مباريات في جميع المسابقات، متسبباً في أول هزيمة لليدز على أرضه منذ سبتمبر 2024، كما حقق توتنهام الفوز الثالث على التوالي في إيلاند رود، وهي المرة الأولى في الدوري الإنجليزي.
