بدأت شاحنات المساعدات الإنسانية بالدخول إلى غزة، اليوم (الأربعاء) مع استئناف إسرائيل الاستعدادات لفتح معبر رفح الرئيسي، بعد نزاع حول إعادة جثث الرهائن الإسرائيليين المتوفين، والذي كاد يعرقل اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار مع حماس.
تهديد إسرائيلي لمعبر رفح
وهددت إسرائيل بإبقاء المعبر مغلقاً وتقليص المساعدات بسبب بطء حماس في تسليم الجثث، وأشارت تقارير إعلامية إلى أن حماس سلمت جثثاً إضافية ليلة الثلاثاء، مما دفع إسرائيل لاستئناف فتح رفح للمواطنين الغزاويين، بينما أشارت تقارير إسرائيلية أخرى إلى أن 600 شاحنة مساعدات ستدخل القطاع.
وسلمت حماس أربع جثث رهائن متوفين، يوم الإثنين الماضي، وأربع أخرى يوم الثلاثاء، لكن إسرائيل أكدت أن إحداها ليست لرهينة، ويبقى الخلاف حول الجثث تهديداً للاتفاق، إلى جانب قضايا أخرى مثل نزع سلاح حماس وتسليمها السلطة، وهو ما رفضته الحركة حتى الآن.
اتفاق السلام في غزة
تشمل عناصر الاتفاق طويلة الأمد إدارة غزة، تشكيل قوة دولية، والتقدم نحو دولة فلسطينية، لكن هذه القضايا لم تُحسم بعد، ويتبقى 21 جثة رهائن في غزة، وقد يكون استردادها صعباً بسبب التدمير وفق ما أعلنته اللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر، مع تكليف فرقة دولية بالبحث عنها، كما يتطلب الاتفاق إعادة إسرائيل لجثث 360 مقاتل فلسطيني، حيث سُلمت 45 جثة يوم الثلاثاء ويجري التعرف عليها.
كارثة إنسانية في غزة
وأدت الحرب إلى كارثة إنسانية في غزة، مع تهجير معظم السكان، وإعلان مراقب عالمي للجوع مجاعة، وإرهاق النظام الصحي.
فيما وثقت وسائل إعلام دخول شاحنات المساعدات من الجانب المصري عبر رفح عند الفجر، محملة بالوقود والإمدادات، لكن لم يتضح إن كانت جزءاً من الـ600 شاحنة المتوقعة يومياً بموجب الاتفاق، فيما تدخل مساعدات أخرى عبر معابر مثل كرم أبو سالم بعد تفتيش إسرائيلي، وتشمل الغذاء، والإمدادات الطبية، والوقود، والغاز، ومعدات إصلاح البنية التحتية.
على صعيد آخر، أثار وزير الأمن القومي الإسرائيلي اليميني إيتمار بن غفير، المعارض للاتفاق، جدلاً عبر منصة «X»، واصفاً دخول المساعدات بـ«العار»، ودعا إلى «محو الإرهاب النازي» -على حد قوله- متهماً حماس بالكذب حول الجثث.
Humanitarian aid trucks began entering Gaza today (Wednesday) as Israel resumed preparations to open the Rafah crossing, following a dispute over the return of the bodies of deceased Israeli hostages, which nearly disrupted the ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
Israeli Threat to Rafah Crossing
Israel threatened to keep the crossing closed and reduce aid due to Hamas's slow delivery of the bodies. Media reports indicated that Hamas delivered additional bodies on Tuesday night, prompting Israel to resume opening Rafah for Gaza citizens, while other Israeli reports suggested that 600 aid trucks would enter the sector.
Hamas delivered four bodies of deceased hostages last Monday and four more on Tuesday, but Israel confirmed that one of them is not a hostage, and the dispute over the bodies remains a threat to the agreement, alongside other issues such as the disarmament of Hamas and its handover of authority, which the movement has rejected so far.
Peace Agreement in Gaza
The elements of the long-term agreement include the administration of Gaza, the formation of an international force, and progress towards a Palestinian state, but these issues have not yet been resolved. There are still 21 bodies of hostages in Gaza, and their retrieval may be difficult due to the destruction, as announced by the International Committee of the Red Cross, with an international team assigned to search for them. The agreement also requires Israel to return the bodies of 360 Palestinian fighters, with 45 bodies delivered on Tuesday currently being identified.
Humanitarian Catastrophe in Gaza
The war has led to a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, with most of the population displaced, a global hunger monitor declaring famine, and the health system overwhelmed.
Meanwhile, media outlets documented the entry of aid trucks from the Egyptian side through Rafah at dawn, loaded with fuel and supplies, but it was unclear whether they were part of the expected 600 trucks daily under the agreement. Other aid enters through crossings like Kerem Shalom after Israeli inspection, including food, medical supplies, fuel, gas, and infrastructure repair equipment.
On another note, right-wing Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who opposes the agreement, sparked controversy on the platform "X," describing the entry of aid as "shameful" and calling for the "eradication of Nazi terrorism" - as he put it - accusing Hamas of lying about the bodies.
