أثارت واقعة تحرُّش بطلها طفل لم يتجاوز الرابعة عشرة صدمة واسعة في مصر، بعدما أقدم طالب بالصف الثاني الإعدادي على مضايقة فتاة تكبره بنحو عشرة أعوام أثناء استقلالها حافلة نقل عام في حي مدينة نصر بالقاهرة، ما أشعل موجة غضب عبر منصات التواصل.
وتحركت الأجهزة الأمنية فور البلاغ، حيث جرى ضبط الطفل الذي اعترف بما نُسب إليه خلال التحقيق الأولي، قبل اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية وإخطار النيابة المختصة لمباشرة التحقيقات.
وأوضحت وزارة الداخلية أن الواقعة حدثت داخل وسيلة نقل مزدحمة، وهو ما يضعها ضمن الحالات المشددة في القانون المصري.
ويعرّف القانون التحرُّش بأنه التعرُّض للغير بإيحاءات أو تلميحات ذات طابع جنسي في مكان عام أو خاص، سواء بالقول أو الفعل أو الإشارة، وبأي وسيلة تقنية. وتصل عقوبته إلى الحبس من ثلاث إلى خمس سنوات وغرامة قد تبلغ 300 ألف جنيه، وتُغلّظ العقوبة إذا ارتُكبت الجريمة في وسائل النقل أو تكررت أو شارك فيها أكثر من شخص.
وتعيد هذه الواقعة غير المعتادة؛ نظرًا لصغر سن المتهم، طرح تساؤلات حول أسباب انخراط بعض الأطفال في سلوكيات خطرة، وضرورة تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي والتربوي لحماية القُصّر ومنع تكرار مثل هذه الحوادث.
The incident of harassment involving a child who has not yet turned fourteen has caused widespread shock in Egypt, after a second-year middle school student harassed a girl who is about ten years older than him while she was on a public bus in the Nasr City neighborhood of Cairo, igniting a wave of anger across social media platforms.
The security authorities acted immediately upon receiving the report, and the child was apprehended, admitting to the allegations against him during the initial investigation, before legal actions were taken and the relevant prosecution was notified to commence investigations.
The Ministry of Interior clarified that the incident occurred inside a crowded means of transport, which categorizes it as a serious case under Egyptian law.
The law defines harassment as exposing others to sexual suggestions or implications in public or private places, whether through words, actions, gestures, or any technological means. The penalty can reach imprisonment for three to five years and a fine that may amount to 300,000 Egyptian pounds, with the punishment being harsher if the crime is committed in transportation means, repeated, or involves more than one person.
This unusual incident, given the young age of the accused, raises questions about the reasons some children engage in risky behaviors and the necessity of enhancing community and educational awareness to protect minors and prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
