أسدلت محكمة جنايات شمال القاهرة، اليوم (الأربعاء)، الستار على واحدة من القضايا التي أثارت تعاطفاً واسعاً في الشارع المصري خلال الأشهر الماضية، بعدما قضت بمعاقبة المتهمة بخطف رضيعة من داخل مستشفى الحسين الجامعي بالسجن لمدة سبع سنوات، في القضية التي شغلت الرأي العام منذ وقوعها بسبب تفاصيلها الإنسانية وطريقة تنفيذ الجريمة.
وجاء الحكم بعد سلسلة من جلسات المحاكمة والتحقيقات التي باشرتها النيابة العامة، والتي انتهت بإثبات تورط المتهمة في اختطاف طفلة حديثة الولادة من داخل المستشفى، قبل أن تتمكن الأجهزة الأمنية من إعادة الرضيعة إلى أسرتها وضبط المتهمة خلال وقت قصير.
وكانت تحقيقات الجهات الأمنية المصرية في واقعة اختطاف رضيعة من داخل مستشفى الحسين الجامعي بالقاهرة كشفت عن تفاصيل صادمة، فور ضبط المتهمة وإعادة الرضيعة إلى أهلها؛ حيث أدلت المتهمة الرئيسية باعترافات موسعة، أشارت فيها إلى أن زوجها لعب دوراً محورياً في التخطيط والتنفيذ، ليصبح «كلمة السر» في الجريمة.
بدأت القصة بتلقي الأجهزة الأمنية بلاغاً من أسرة رضيعة باختفائها من داخل قسم الأطفال بالمستشفى، في ظروف غامضة أثارت حالة من الذعر بين المرضى وذويهم.
وعلى الفور، تم تشكيل فريق بحث موسع، مع تفريغ كاميرات المراقبة وتتبع خط سير المشتبه بهم.
وأظهرت التحريات دخول سيدة إلى المستشفى متخفية في هيئة زائرة، قبل أن تستغل لحظة انشغال الأم، وتغادر المكان حاملة الرضيعة.
وفي اعترافاتها، أقرّت المتهمة بأنها لم تكن تتحرك بمفردها، مؤكدة أن زوجها هو من اقترح فكرة اختطاف طفل، بعد معاناتهما من عدم الإنجاب، ورغبته في إيجاد حل سريع للأزمة.
وأضافت أنها توجهت إلى المستشفى بعد مراقبة المكان لعدة أيام، بناءً على توجيهات الزوج، الذي قام بدوره بتأمين وسيلة الهروب والتخفي.
التحقيقات أوضحت أن الزوج حدد المستشفى المستهدف بعد دراسة نقاط الضعف الأمنية، كما نسق مع المتهمة توقيت التنفيذ، وتولى أيضاً إخفاء الرضيعة بعد الاختطاف، كما وفر مكاناً آمناً للاختباء.
وقد تمكنت الأجهزة الأمنية من تحديد مكان الزوج وإلقاء القبض عليه، بعد تضييق الخناق عليه من خلال تتبع الاتصالات وخطوط السير.
ونجحت قوات الأمن في إعادة الرضيعة إلى أسرتها سالمة، بعد ساعات من تكثيف عمليات البحث، وسط حالة من الارتياح بين أسرة الطفلة والرأي العام.
وتم تحرير محضر بالواقعة، وأُحيل المتهمان إلى النيابة العامة، التي باشرت التحقيق، ووجهت لهما تهم اختطاف طفل وانتحال صفة وتعريض حياة طفلة للخطر.
وكانت النيابة العامة قد أحالت المتهمة إلى المحاكمة الجنائية بعد استكمال تفريغ المكالمات الهاتفية وكاميرات المراقبة وإجراء المواجهات القانونية مع أسرة الطفلة، قبل أن تنتهي القضية بصدور حكم السجن لمدة سبع سنوات.
The North Cairo Criminal Court today (Wednesday) closed the curtain on one of the cases that sparked widespread sympathy in Egyptian society over the past few months, after it sentenced the accused of kidnapping a baby girl from inside Al-Hussein University Hospital to seven years in prison, in a case that has captivated public opinion since its occurrence due to its humanitarian details and the manner in which the crime was executed.
The ruling came after a series of trial sessions and investigations conducted by the Public Prosecution, which concluded with proving the accused's involvement in the kidnapping of a newborn baby from inside the hospital, before the security forces managed to return the baby to her family and apprehend the accused in a short time.
The investigations by the Egyptian security authorities into the kidnapping of a baby from Al-Hussein University Hospital in Cairo revealed shocking details, immediately after the apprehension of the accused and the return of the baby to her family; the main accused provided extensive confessions, indicating that her husband played a pivotal role in the planning and execution, becoming the "password" in the crime.
The story began when the security forces received a report from the family of a baby girl about her disappearance from the children's ward of the hospital under mysterious circumstances, causing a state of panic among patients and their relatives.
Immediately, an extensive search team was formed, along with reviewing surveillance camera footage and tracking the movements of the suspects.
Investigations showed that a woman entered the hospital disguised as a visitor, before taking advantage of the mother's moment of distraction and leaving the place carrying the baby.
In her confessions, the accused admitted that she was not acting alone, confirming that her husband was the one who suggested the idea of kidnapping a child, after they suffered from infertility and his desire to find a quick solution to the crisis.
She added that she went to the hospital after monitoring the place for several days, based on her husband's instructions, who also secured the means of escape and disguise.
The investigations clarified that the husband identified the targeted hospital after studying security weaknesses, coordinated with the accused on the timing of the execution, and also took charge of hiding the baby after the kidnapping, as well as providing a safe place to hide.
The security forces managed to locate the husband and arrest him after tightening the noose around him through tracking communications and routes.
The security forces successfully returned the baby to her family safe and sound, just hours after intensifying search operations, amidst a state of relief among the child's family and public opinion.
A report was filed regarding the incident, and the two accused were referred to the Public Prosecution, which began the investigation and charged them with kidnapping a child, impersonation, and endangering a child's life.
The Public Prosecution had referred the accused to criminal trial after completing the review of phone calls and surveillance camera footage and conducting legal confrontations with the child's family, before the case concluded with a seven-year prison sentence.
