رُفعت أعلام السعودية وباكستان وتركيا خارج مبنى البرلمان في العاصمة الباكستانية إسلام آباد، اليوم (السبت)، في مشهد يعكس أبعاد الاتفاقية الدفاعية المشتركة التي وقعتها الدول الثلاث خلال «قمة مكة المكرمة للدفاع المشترك»، في قصر الصفا بمكة المكرمة، أمس (الجمعة).
وتنص الاتفاقية على اعتبار أي هجوم مسلح ضد أي دولة من الدول الثلاث هجوماً عليها جميعاً، بما يعزز مفهوم الردع الجماعي، ويرسخ التعاون الدفاعي والأمني بين السعودية وباكستان وتركيا.
ويأتي الاتفاق في إطار تعزيز التنسيق الدفاعي بين الدول الثلاث، وتطوير قدراتها على مواجهة التهديدات، بما يسهم في دعم الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين.
ويجسد رفع الأعلام الثلاثة أمام البرلمان الباكستاني دلالة سياسية على عمق الشراكة الجديدة، التي تضع التعاون الدفاعي المشترك في إطار أكثر تكاملاً، وتؤكد أن أمن أي دولة من أطراف الاتفاق يرتبط بأمن شركائها.
The flags of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey were raised outside the parliament building in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, today (Saturday), in a scene that reflects the dimensions of the joint defense agreement signed by the three countries during the "Mecca Summit for Joint Defense" at the Al-Safa Palace in Mecca, yesterday (Friday).
The agreement stipulates that any armed attack against any of the three countries will be considered an attack on all of them, thereby enhancing the concept of collective deterrence and solidifying defense and security cooperation between Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey.
The agreement comes as part of enhancing defense coordination among the three countries and developing their capabilities to confront threats, contributing to the support of regional security and stability.
The raising of the three flags in front of the Pakistani parliament symbolizes a political significance of the depth of the new partnership, which places joint defense cooperation within a more integrated framework and confirms that the security of any signatory country is linked to the security of its partners.
