اندلع حريق قرب بلدة نييبلا في مقاطعة هويلفا بإقليم الأندلس جنوب غرب إسبانيا مساء أمس، وامتد حتى اليوم ليطال أكثر من 4 آلاف هكتار، وسط رياح قوية وتغيرات مستمرة في اتجاهها أعاقت جهود الإخماد.
وأوضح وزير الرئاسة والصحة والطوارئ في حكومة إقليم الأندلس أنطونيو سانز أن الحريق اندلع قرب بلدة نييبلا، على بُعد نحو 70 كيلومتراً من الحدود مع البرتغال، مشيراً إلى إجلاء نحو 70 شخصاً احترازياً، دون تسجيل أضرار في المناطق السكنية حتى الآن.
ويشارك أكثر من 275 عنصر إطفاء، بينهم 60 عنصراً من وحدة الطوارئ العسكرية، في عمليات مكافحة الحريق، بمساندة نحو 20 طائرة وعدد من المركبات الثقيلة.
A fire broke out near the town of Niebla in the province of Huelva in the Andalusia region of southwestern Spain yesterday evening, and has continued into today, affecting more than 4,000 hectares, amidst strong winds and ongoing changes in their direction that have hindered firefighting efforts.
The Minister of the Presidency, Health, and Emergency Services in the Andalusian government, Antonio Sanz, stated that the fire ignited near the town of Niebla, about 70 kilometers from the border with Portugal, noting that approximately 70 people have been evacuated as a precaution, with no damage reported in residential areas so far.
More than 275 firefighters, including 60 members of the military emergency unit, are participating in the firefighting operations, supported by around 20 aircraft and several heavy vehicles.
