أحبطت قوات المقاومة الوطنية أحد فصائل الجيش اليمني اليوم (الجمعة)، عملية لاستهداف سفينة نفطية في البحر الأحمر بزورق مفخخ.
وأوضح الإعلام العسكري للمقاومة الوطنية أن الدوريات البحرية رصدت زورقاً يتحرك بسرعة غير طبيعية ويقترب من المنطقة المحظورة المقابلة لمحطة كهرباء المخا، وتعاملت معه بالسلاح المناسب، مشيراً إلى أن قوة انفجاره وما تصاعد منه من دخان يكشف أن الزورق كان مفخخاً.
من جهة ثانية، أدانت مؤسسة تمكين المرأة اليمنية (YWEF) الهجمات الحوثية التي طالت الأعيان المدنية في منطقة نجران جنوب السعودية، والتي أدت إلى إصابة 11 مدنياً، بينهم طفل، ومقيمون من جنسيات يمنية ومصرية وباكستانية، في اعتداء خطير.
وحذرت من تداعيات الأعمال الإرهابية واستمرار إطلاق الصواريخ والمسيّرات باتجاه محافظة مأرب في اليمن التي يقطنها أكثر من مليوني نسمة وتؤوي واحداً من أكبر تجمعات النازحين في اليمن.
وأوضحت أن التصعيد العسكري الخطير الذي نفذته المليشيا الحوثية امتد إلى مناطق وأعيان مدنية خارج اليمن، بالتزامن مع اعتداءات طالت الملاحة التجارية في البحر الأحمر.
موجة جديدة من العنف
واعتبرت مؤسسة تمكين أن هذه الهجمات تمثل نقضاً خطيراً لحالة التهدئة القائمة، ومحاولة واضحة من المليشيا الحوثية لإعادة إشعال الحرب وجر اليمن والمنطقة إلى موجة جديدة من العنف، ونسف الجهود الأممية والمساعي الإقليمية والدولية الرامية إلى وقف نزيف الدم والدفع نحو تسوية سياسية تنهي سنوات الحرب والمعاناة.
ضحايا الهجوم الإرهابي
ولفتت إلى ما نفذته المليشيا من هجمات مكثفة باستخدام ثمانية صواريخ باليستية وطائرات مسيّرة استهدفت مواقع في الرويك والثنية بمحافظة مأرب، واللواء 23 مشاة في منطقة العبر بمحافظة حضرموت قرب منفذ الوديعة، وما أسفر عنها في استشهاد 17 من أفراد القوات المسلحة وإصابة آخرين.
The National Resistance Forces thwarted one of the Yemeni army factions today (Friday) from targeting an oil tanker in the Red Sea with a booby-trapped boat.
The military media of the National Resistance clarified that naval patrols detected a boat moving at an abnormal speed and approaching the restricted area opposite the Al-Mokha power station, and dealt with it using appropriate weaponry, noting that the force of the explosion and the smoke rising from it indicate that the boat was booby-trapped.
On another note, the Yemeni Women's Empowerment Foundation (YWEF) condemned the Houthi attacks that targeted civilian sites in the Najran region of southern Saudi Arabia, which resulted in the injury of 11 civilians, including a child, as well as residents of Yemeni, Egyptian, and Pakistani nationalities, in a serious assault.
It warned of the repercussions of terrorist acts and the continued launching of missiles and drones towards Marib Governorate in Yemen, which is home to more than two million people and hosts one of the largest gatherings of displaced persons in Yemen.
It explained that the dangerous military escalation carried out by the Houthi militia extended to areas and civilian sites outside Yemen, coinciding with attacks on commercial navigation in the Red Sea.
A New Wave of Violence
The Foundation for Empowerment considered that these attacks represent a serious violation of the existing truce and a clear attempt by the Houthi militia to reignite the war and drag Yemen and the region into a new wave of violence, undermining international efforts and regional and international endeavors aimed at stopping the bloodshed and pushing towards a political settlement that ends years of war and suffering.
Victims of the Terrorist Attack
It pointed out that the militia carried out intensive attacks using eight ballistic missiles and drones targeting sites in Al-Ruwaik and Al-Thaniya in Marib Governorate, and the 23rd Infantry Brigade in the Al-Abar area of Hadhramaut Governorate near the Al-Wadiah crossing, resulting in the martyrdom of 17 members of the armed forces and injuries to others.
