رحَّبتْ رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي بالبيان المُشترَك الصادر عن قمة مكة المكرمة للدِّفاع المُشترَك بين المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية التركية وجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية، التي استضافَتْها مكة المكرمة، بدعوةٍ كريمةٍ من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وما نتج عنها من «اتفاقية مكة للدِّفاع المُشترَك»، التي وقَّعها كلٌّ من ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، ورئيس الجمهورية التركية رجب طيب أردوغان، ورئيس وزراء جمهورية باكستان الإسلامية محمد شهباز شريف.
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة، نوَّه الأمين العام رئيسُ هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى -بتثمينٍ كبيرٍ- بهذه الاتفاقية، ولا سيَّما أنّها قامت على روابط الأُخُوّة والتضامُن الإسلامي؛ لتعزيز الأمن المُشترَك، وتحقيق السلام والاستقرار والازدهار في المجتمع الدولي، خصوصاً المنطقة، سائلًا المولى -جلّ وعلا- أن يبارك في هذه الجهود، وينفعَ بها، ويُجزلَ مثوبةَ القائمين عليها.
The Muslim World League welcomed the joint statement issued by the Mecca Summit for joint defense between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Turkey, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which was hosted in Mecca at the gracious invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz. This resulted in the "Mecca Agreement for Joint Defense," signed by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
In a statement from the General Secretariat, the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, highly appreciated this agreement, especially as it is based on the bonds of brotherhood and Islamic solidarity to enhance joint security and achieve peace, stability, and prosperity in the international community, particularly in the region. He asked the Almighty - Glorified and Exalted - to bless these efforts, benefit from them, and grant abundant rewards to those who are behind them.
