تحولت حملة لإزالة مخالفات البناء بمحافظة الجيزة المصرية إلى مأساة، بعد وفاة رئيس الوحدة المحلية نور الدين محمد إثر سقوط هيكل معدني وسور عقار مخالف عليه أثناء إشرافه على أعمال الإزالة.
وكان المسؤول المحلي موجوداً في موقع الحملة لمتابعة تنفيذ قرار إزالة أحد التعديات ومخالفات البناء، والإشراف على الإجراءات ميدانياً، قبل أن يسقط الهيكل المعدني بالتزامن مع سقوط سور العقار المخالف، ويسبب له إصابات بالغة.
وسارع المشاركون في الحملة والأهالي إلى محاولة إنقاذه، فيما جرى استدعاء سيارة إسعاف ونقله إلى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج، إلا أنه فارق الحياة متأثراً بإصاباته.
تحقيقات في ملابسات الحادثة
وعقب الواقعة، انتقلت الأجهزة الأمنية والتنفيذية إلى موقع الحادثة لإجراء المعاينات اللازمة، والوقوف على أسباب سقوط الهيكل المعدني والسور.
وبدأت النيابة العامة التحقيق في ملابسات الحادثة، تمهيداً لتحديد أسبابه ومدى الالتزام بإجراءات السلامة خلال تنفيذ أعمال الإزالة، إلى جانب فحص موقع العقار المخالف والهيكل المعدني، وسماع أقوال المشاركين والشهود.
ولم تعلن جهات التحقيق حتى الآن نتائجها النهائية بشأن أسباب الحادثة أو المسؤولية القانونية عنها.
The campaign to remove building violations in the Giza Governorate of Egypt turned into a tragedy after the death of the head of the local unit, Nour El-Din Mohamed, due to the collapse of a metal structure and a wall of a violating building on him while he was supervising the removal operations.
The local official was present at the site of the campaign to monitor the implementation of the removal decision for one of the encroachments and building violations, overseeing the procedures on the ground, before the metal structure collapsed simultaneously with the wall of the violating building, causing him severe injuries.
Participants in the campaign and local residents rushed to try to save him, while an ambulance was called to transport him to the hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations into the Circumstances of the Incident
Following the incident, security and executive agencies moved to the site to conduct the necessary inspections and to determine the reasons for the collapse of the metal structure and the wall.
The Public Prosecution has begun investigating the circumstances of the incident, in preparation for determining its causes and the extent of compliance with safety procedures during the removal operations, in addition to examining the site of the violating building and the metal structure, and hearing the statements of participants and witnesses.
No final results regarding the causes of the incident or legal responsibility have been announced by the investigative authorities so far.
