تتجه السعودية وتركيا وباكستان إلى تدشين مرحلة جديدة من التعاون الإستراتيجي، إذ كشف مصدران من المنطقة لوكالة «رويترز» أن الدول الثلاث ستوقع اليوم (الجمعة) في جدة اتفاقية للدفاع المشترك، بالتزامن مع قمة ثلاثية تجمع ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، والرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان، ورئيس الوزراء الباكستاني محمد شهباز شريف.
وتكتسب الاتفاقية المرتقبة أهمية خاصة في ظل التطورات الإقليمية والدولية المتسارعة، وما تشهده المنطقة من تحديات أمنية وسياسية، فيما يُنتظر أن تفتح آفاقاً أوسع للتنسيق والتعاون بين الرياض وأنقرة وإسلام آباد.
قمة ثلاثية في السعودية
يذكر أن المملكة ستستضيف اليوم القمة الثلاثية التي تجمع الأمير محمد بن سلمان وأردوغان وشهباز شريف، في لقاء يعكس تنامي مستوى التنسيق بين الدول الثلاث، وحرصها على تعزيز الشراكة في الملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
ومن المنتظر أن تتناول القمة العلاقات الثنائية والثلاثية، وسبل تطوير التعاون في مختلف المجالات، إلى جانب مناقشة أبرز القضايا والتطورات الإقليمية والدولية.
أردوغان يصل في زيارة عمل
وكانت الرئاسة التركية أعلنت أن الرئيس رجب طيب أردوغان سيزور السعودية اليوم في زيارة عمل تستغرق يوماً واحداً، تلبية لدعوة رسمية، للمشاركة في القمة الثلاثية.
وقال رئيس دائرة الاتصال بالرئاسة التركية برهان الدين دوران، إن أردوغان سيلتقي خلال الزيارة ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان ورئيس الوزراء الباكستاني محمد شهباز شريف، لبحث عدد من الملفات الإقليمية والدولية وسبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك.
Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan are moving towards launching a new phase of strategic cooperation, as two sources from the region revealed to Reuters that the three countries will sign a joint defense agreement today (Friday) in Jeddah, coinciding with a trilateral summit that brings together Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
The anticipated agreement holds particular significance in light of the rapidly evolving regional and international developments, as well as the security and political challenges facing the region, while it is expected to open broader horizons for coordination and cooperation between Riyadh, Ankara, and Islamabad.
Trilateral Summit in Saudi Arabia
It is noteworthy that the Kingdom will host today the trilateral summit that brings together Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Erdoğan, and Shehbaz Sharif, in a meeting that reflects the growing level of coordination among the three countries and their commitment to enhancing partnership in areas of mutual interest.
The summit is expected to address bilateral and trilateral relations, ways to develop cooperation in various fields, in addition to discussing the most prominent regional and international issues and developments.
Erdoğan Arrives for a Working Visit
The Turkish presidency announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Saudi Arabia today for a one-day working visit, in response to an official invitation, to participate in the trilateral summit.
Turkish Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun stated that Erdoğan will meet during the visit with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif to discuss a number of regional and international issues and ways to enhance joint cooperation.
