بإشراف من وزارة الطاقة، وُقعت (الأربعاء) الموافق 5 أغسطس 2026 في العاصمة السورية دمشق 3 اتفاقيات لشراء الطاقة، واتفاقيتان للتعاون الفني، وذلك في إطار تطوير شركة سعودية 3 مشاريع للطاقة الشمسية في منطقة وديان الربيع بريف دمشق.
وتُعد هذه المشاريع من أبرز مشاريع الطاقة المتجددة في سورية، إذ تبلغ قدرتها الإجمالية 760 ميجاواط، وترتبط بأنظمة تخزين الطاقة بتقنية البطاريات بقدرة إجمالية تبلغ 1077 ميجاواط/ ساعة. وتمتد اتفاقيات شراء الطاقة بين 20 و25 عامًا، فيما تنتج الكهرباء بأسعار تنافسية تبدأ من 3 سنتات أمريكية لكل كيلوواط/ ساعة. وتشمل اتفاقيتا التعاون الفني تقديم خدمات استشارية وهندسية متخصصة لدعم إدارة وتنفيذ المشاريع، إلى جانب التعاون الفني ونقل الخبرات التقنية في مجالات محطات التحويل الرئيسية وتوليد الطاقة وأنظمة تخزينها، بما يضمن تنفيذ المشاريع وفق أعلى المعايير الفنية. كما تسهم الاتفاقيتان في تعزيز التكامل والتعاون بين الأطراف المعنية والجانب السوري، امتدادًا لاتفاقية إطارية ومذكرة تفاهم سابقتين في مجالات الخدمات الفنية والهندسية لمشاريع الطاقة، وبناء نظام قيادة وتشغيل للشبكة الكهربائية السورية. ويأتي توقيع هذه الاتفاقيات انطلاقًا من نهج المملكة العربية السعودية في تعزيز أطر التعاون الثنائي وتعميق الشراكة الاقتصادية والأخوية مع الجمهورية العربية السورية، من خلال دعم مشاريع البنية التحتية للطاقة وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة فيها.
Under the supervision of the Ministry of Energy, three power purchase agreements and two technical cooperation agreements were signed on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, in the Syrian capital, Damascus. This is part of the development of a Saudi company for three solar energy projects in the Wadi al-Rabi area in the countryside of Damascus.
These projects are among the most prominent renewable energy projects in Syria, with a total capacity of 760 megawatts, and are connected to energy storage systems using battery technology with a total capacity of 1,077 megawatt-hours. The power purchase agreements extend between 20 and 25 years, with electricity produced at competitive prices starting from 3 US cents per kilowatt-hour. The two technical cooperation agreements include providing specialized consulting and engineering services to support the management and implementation of the projects, in addition to technical cooperation and the transfer of technical expertise in the fields of main substations, power generation, and energy storage systems, ensuring that the projects are executed according to the highest technical standards. The agreements also contribute to enhancing integration and cooperation between the concerned parties and the Syrian side, extending from a previous framework agreement and memorandum of understanding in the fields of technical and engineering services for energy projects, and building a leadership and operation system for the Syrian electrical grid. The signing of these agreements is in line with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's approach to enhancing frameworks for bilateral cooperation and deepening economic and fraternal partnership with the Syrian Arab Republic, by supporting energy infrastructure projects and achieving sustainable development goals within it.
