تستعد إدارة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب لإطلاق المرحلة الثانية من عملية الكشف عن ملفات الأجسام الطائرة المجهولة (UFO)، في خطوة أثارت موجة واسعة من الجدل والتكهنات داخل الولايات المتحدة وخارجها.
وأكد المتحدث باسم وزارة الدفاع الأمريكية (البنتاغون)، شون بارنيل، أن الدفعة الجديدة من الوثائق تخضع حالياً لمعالجة نشطة تمهيداً لنشرها قريباً، دون تحديد موعد رسمي للإفراج عنها.
وكانت الإدارة الأمريكية قد نشرت في 8 مايو أول دفعة من الملفات السرية المتعلقة بما يُعرف بـ«الظواهر الجوية غير المحددة» (UAPs)، وشملت صوراً ومقاطع فيديو ووثائق حكومية لم تُعرض سابقاً على الرأي العام.
وأثارت تلك الوثائق اهتماماً واسعاً، خصوصا بعد تصريحات لعدد من أعضاء الكونغرس أكدوا فيها أن ما تم الكشف عنه حتى الآن لا يمثل سوى البداية، وأن مواد أكثر إثارة لا تزال مخفية.
النائب الجمهوري عن ولاية تينيسي، تيم بورشيت، المعروف بدعمه لشفافية ملفات الأجسام الطائرة المجهولة، قال عقب نشر الدفعة الأولى إن «ما سيأتي لاحقاً سيكون أكبر بكثير»، مضيفاً: «الصدمة الحقيقية لم تبدأ بعد».
وجاءت التطورات الجديدة بعد يوم واحد فقط من نشر ترمب صورة مولدة بالذكاء الاصطناعي عبر منصته «تروث سوشال»، ظهر فيها وهو يقف إلى جانب كائن فضائي مكبل بالأصفاد داخل قاعدة عسكرية أمريكية، الأمر الذي زاد من حدة النقاش على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي بشأن حملة الكشف الحكومية.
وأظهرت الصورة الرئيس الأمريكي ومرافقيه الأمنيين وهم يقتادون الكائن الفضائي عبر مدرج عسكري، بينما يحيط بهم جنود مسلحون، في مشهد وصفه متابعون بأنه «سريالي».
وعقب الإعلان عن قرب نشر الدفعة الثانية، اشتعلت منصات التواصل بتعليقات ساخرة ومتحمسة، حيث كتب أحد المستخدمين: «الحكومة تعالج ملفات الأجسام الطائرة أسرع من معالجة حاسوبي لتحديثات البرامج»، بينما رأى آخرون أن الأمر قد يتحول إلى «أطول حملة تشويق في التاريخ».
في المقابل، شكك عدد من المتابعين في جدية السلطات الأمريكية، معتبرين أن عبارة «الملفات قيد المعالجة» قد تكون مجرد محاولة لإبقاء الاهتمام الشعبي قائماً دون تقديم معلومات حقيقية.
كما ألمح النائب بورشيت إلى احتمال وجود عراقيل داخل المؤسسات الأمنية والاستخباراتية تمنع الكشف الكامل عن الملفات، قائلاً إن «الدولة العميقة تقاوم نشر المعلومات»، مضيفاً أن بعض الوكالات الحكومية «تتعمد إبطاء الإفراج عن الوثائق بسبب صراعات النفوذ والسيطرة».
وكانت النائبة عن ولاية فلوريدا آنا بولينا لونا قد مهدت لنشر الدفعة الأولى برسائل غامضة عبر وسائل التواصل، قبل أن يتم الإعلان رسمياً عن الوثائق في اليوم التالي.
وتأتي هذه التطورات بعد أشهر من إصدار ترمب توجيهات لوزير الدفاع بيت هيغسيث برفع السرية عن سجلات حكومية مرتبطة بالأجسام الطائرة المجهولة والأنشطة الفضائية المزعومة.
ومن بين أبرز المواد التي كُشف عنها صور ومستندات مرتبطة ببعثتي أبولو 12 وأبولو 17 التابعتين لوكالة ناسا، بينها صورة من سطح القمر تظهر ثلاث نقاط غامضة في السماء المظلمة فوق القمر.
كما تضمنت الوثائق صوراً التقطها مكتب التحقيقات الفيدرالي عام 1999 لأجسام مجهولة قرب طائرات عسكرية أمريكية، إضافة إلى لقطات صوّرها طيارون عسكريون لأجسام سريعة الحركة تمر بجوار الطائرات أثناء التحليق.
ومن أكثر المقاطع إثارة للجدل فيديو حراري التقطه عسكريون أمريكيون عام 2013، يظهر جسماً متوهجاً يشبه «نجمة ثمانية الرؤوس» يتحرك بطريقة غير منتظمة في السماء.
وتزايد الاهتمام الشعبي بالقضية بعد تصريحات سابقة للونا، بصفتها رئيسة فريق الرقابة البرلمانية المعني برفع السرية، أكدت فيها وجود عشرات الفيديوهات العسكرية التي لا تزال بعيدة عن متناول الجمهور.
وكانت لونا قد طالبت في وقت سابق بالإفراج عن 46 مقطع فيديو مصنفاً سرياً، قيل إنها التقطت قرب قواعد عسكرية ومناطق نزاع ومجالات جوية محظورة.
ورغم أن البنتاغون كان قد حدد شهر أبريل موعداً أولياً للكشف عن المواد، فإنه أخفق في الالتزام بالموعد، مبرراً التأخير بـ«إجراءات إدارية».
ولم توضح السلطات الأمريكية حتى الآن ما إذا كانت المرحلة الثانية ستشمل مقاطع فيديو إضافية أو بيانات رادار أو شهادات طيارين أو تقييمات استخباراتية سرية.
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is preparing to launch the second phase of the disclosure process regarding unidentified flying object (UFO) files, a move that has sparked a wide wave of controversy and speculation both within the United States and abroad.
U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) spokesperson Sean Barnell confirmed that the new batch of documents is currently undergoing active processing in preparation for their upcoming release, without specifying an official date for their disclosure.
The U.S. administration had released the first batch of classified files related to what is known as "unidentified aerial phenomena" (UAPs) on May 8, which included images, videos, and government documents that had not previously been presented to the public.
These documents have generated widespread interest, especially following statements from several members of Congress who confirmed that what has been disclosed so far is just the beginning, and that more exciting materials are still hidden.
Republican Congressman from Tennessee, Tim Burchett, known for his support of transparency regarding UFO files, stated after the release of the first batch that "what is to come will be much bigger," adding, "the real shock has not yet begun."
The new developments came just one day after Trump posted an AI-generated image on his platform "Truth Social," showing him standing next to an alien in shackles inside a U.S. military base, which intensified the discussion on social media regarding the government's disclosure campaign.
The image depicted the U.S. president and his security detail escorting the alien through a military runway, surrounded by armed soldiers, in a scene described by followers as "surreal."
Following the announcement of the imminent release of the second batch, social media platforms ignited with sarcastic and enthusiastic comments, with one user writing: "The government processes UFO files faster than my computer processes software updates," while others suggested that it could turn into "the longest marketing campaign in history."
Conversely, several followers expressed skepticism about the seriousness of U.S. authorities, considering that the phrase "files being processed" might just be an attempt to maintain public interest without providing real information.
Burchett also hinted at the possibility of obstacles within security and intelligence agencies that prevent the full disclosure of the files, stating that "the deep state resists the release of information," adding that some government agencies "deliberately slow down the release of documents due to power struggles."
Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna had paved the way for the release of the first batch with cryptic messages on social media before the documents were officially announced the following day.
These developments come after months of Trump issuing directives to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to declassify government records related to unidentified flying objects and alleged space activities.
Among the most notable materials revealed are images and documents related to the Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 missions from NASA, including a photo from the moon's surface showing three mysterious points in the dark sky above the moon.
The documents also included images captured by the FBI in 1999 of unidentified objects near U.S. military aircraft, as well as footage filmed by military pilots of fast-moving objects passing by aircraft during flight.
One of the most controversial clips is a thermal video captured by American military personnel in 2013, showing a glowing object resembling an "eight-pointed star" moving erratically in the sky.
Public interest in the issue has increased following previous statements by Luna, in her capacity as chair of the parliamentary oversight team responsible for declassification, where she confirmed the existence of dozens of military videos that are still out of public reach.
Luna had previously called for the release of 46 classified video clips, said to have been captured near military bases, conflict zones, and restricted airspaces.
Although the Pentagon had initially set April as the date for the disclosure of the materials, it failed to meet the deadline, justifying the delay with "administrative procedures."
The U.S. authorities have not yet clarified whether the second phase will include additional video clips, radar data, pilot testimonies, or classified intelligence assessments.
