تحوّل صباح اليوم (السبت) في مطار هيثرو الدولي إلى مشهد من الفوضى والخوف، بعد تمكن شاب في أواخر العشرينيات من تجاوز جميع نقاط التفتيش الأمنية والصعود إلى رحلة الخطوط الجوية البريطانية المتجهة إلى أوسلو، دون بطاقة صعود أو جواز سفر، ما أشعل حالة استنفار أمني غير مسبوقة.
استغل الشاب الزحام في صالة المغادرة 3، وانسل خلف الركاب مستخدمًا أسلوب «التتبع اللصيق»، متجاوزًا البوابات الإلكترونية والأجهزة الأمنية ببراعة، حتى وصل إلى الطائرة متظاهرًا بأنه أحد أفراد عائلة، ليجد نفسه فجأة وسط ركاب فوجئوا بوجود غريب بينهم.
كشف الخدعة داخل الطائرة
بدأ طاقم الطائرة يشتبه بحركاته الغريبة، خصوصًا مع تبديله المستمر للمقاعد. وعندما طلبوا منه إبراز وثائق السفر، لم يتمكن من تقديم أي مستند، ليضطر الطاقم لإعلان حالة الطوارئ واستدعاء الشرطة المسلحة التي اقتحمت المقصورة وأخرجته.
وأدى الموقف إلى إخلاء جميع الركاب وإعادة الفحص الأمني بالكامل، بينما تم تمشيط المقصورة بالكلاب البوليسية، ما تسبب في تأخير الرحلة لأكثر من 3 ساعات، وسط استياء الركاب من تعويض رمزي بقيمة 10 جنيهات إسترلينية فقط وصلهم عبر تطبيق هاتفي.
ووصف خبير أمن الطيران فيليب باوم الحادثة بأنها «فشل أمني جسيم»، مشيرًا إلى أن قدرة شخص واحد على تجاوز عدة نقاط تفتيش في أحد أكثر المطارات ازدحامًا في العالم تثير تساؤلات خطيرة حول كفاءة الأنظمة الأمنية الحالية.
من جانبه، أكد خبير التحقيقات الخاصة مايك لاكورت أن الشاب بدا بملابس باهتة وحقيبة صغيرة، ولم يكن لديه أي حق قانوني للتواجد على متن الطائرة، مشيرًا إلى أن سرعة تدخل الشرطة كانت حاسمة لتجنب أي كارثة محتملة.
وتظل التحقيقات مستمرة وسط تساؤلات حول مدى جاهزية المطارات الكبرى للتصدي لمثل هذه الخروقات، وما إذا كانت أنظمة التفتيش بحاجة لإعادة تصميم كاملة لضمان سلامة الركاب.
This morning (Saturday) at Heathrow International Airport turned into a scene of chaos and fear, after a young man in his late twenties managed to bypass all security checkpoints and board a British Airways flight to Oslo, without a boarding pass or passport, triggering an unprecedented security alert.
The young man took advantage of the crowd in Departure Lounge 3, slipping in behind passengers using a "close-following" technique, skillfully bypassing electronic gates and security devices, until he reached the plane pretending to be a family member, only to find himself suddenly among passengers who were surprised by the presence of a stranger among them.
Revealing the Deception Inside the Plane
The flight crew began to suspect his strange movements, especially with his constant changing of seats. When they asked him to present travel documents, he was unable to provide any, forcing the crew to declare a state of emergency and call in armed police who stormed the cabin and removed him.
The situation led to the evacuation of all passengers and a complete security re-check, while the cabin was searched by police dogs, causing the flight to be delayed for more than 3 hours, amid passengers' dissatisfaction with a symbolic compensation of only £10 that was sent to them via a mobile app.
Aviation security expert Philip Baum described the incident as a "serious security failure," noting that the ability of one person to bypass several checkpoints in one of the busiest airports in the world raises serious questions about the effectiveness of current security systems.
For his part, private investigations expert Mike Lacorte confirmed that the young man appeared in dull clothing and carrying a small bag, and had no legal right to be on the plane, pointing out that the speed of police intervention was crucial in avoiding any potential disaster.
Investigations remain ongoing amid questions about the readiness of major airports to confront such breaches, and whether screening systems need a complete redesign to ensure passenger safety.
