أوقف المجلس الأعلى لتنظيم الإعلام في مصر، برئاسة المهندس خالد عبدالعزيز، عرض برنامج «السر في الحدوتة»، ومنع ظهور مقدمته المذيعة سارة هادي لحين انتهاء التحقيقات، وذلك بعد استضافة المتهم بالتحرش في واقعة «فتاة الأتوبيس».
منع ظهور المتحرش
كما قرر المجلس إلزام جميع الوسائل الإعلامية الخاضعة لأحكام القانون رقم 180 لسنة 2018، بمنع ظهور مقدمة البرنامج وضيف الحلقة المتهم في قضية التحرش، خصوصاً أن قضيته لا تزال قيد تحقيقات النيابة العامة، وذلك لحين انتهاء لجنة الشكاوى بالمجلس من فحص الواقعة، وإجراء التحقيقات اللازمة.
وأثارت استضافة المتهم بواقعة التحرش على شاشة التلفزيون جدلاً كبيراً بين المصريين، وأعرب كثيرون عن رفضهم هذه الخطوة التي تؤجج مشاعر المجني عليها وجميع ضحايا التحرش، معتبرين أن هذه الخطوة تدعو للفوضى الإعلامية وتخالف المواثيق.
فيما طالب كثيرون بوقف البرنامج ومحاسبة القناة والمذيعة، مؤكدين أن المذيعة وطاقم إعداد البرنامج قصدوا إثارة الجدل والشهرة على حساب ميثاق الإعلام والقانون المصري.
The Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt, chaired by Engineer Khaled Abdelaziz, has suspended the airing of the program "The Secret in the Story" and prohibited its host, presenter Sara Hadi, from appearing until the investigations are completed. This decision follows the hosting of the accused in the harassment case known as "The Bus Girl."
Ban on the Harasser's Appearance
The council also decided to obligate all media outlets subject to the provisions of Law No. 180 of 2018 to prevent the appearance of the program's host and the episode's guest, who is accused in the harassment case, especially since his case is still under investigation by the Public Prosecution. This will remain in effect until the Complaints Committee of the council completes its review of the incident and conducts the necessary investigations.
The hosting of the accused in the harassment incident on television has sparked significant controversy among Egyptians, with many expressing their rejection of this step, which they believe exacerbates the feelings of the victim and all harassment victims. They consider this move to incite media chaos and violate ethical codes.
Meanwhile, many have called for the program to be canceled and for the channel and the presenter to be held accountable, asserting that the presenter and the program's production team intended to provoke controversy and gain fame at the expense of media ethics and Egyptian law.
