أعلنت السلطات الروسية إطلاق رحلات جوية مباشرة بين العاصمة موسكو ومدينة بيونغ يانغ عاصمة كوريا الشمالية، بدءاً من اليوم (الأحد)، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز العلاقات بين البلدين.
تعد هذه الرحلات الأولى من نوعها بين العاصمتين منذ منتصف التسعينيات، وفقاً لمدونات الطيران الروسية، وتأتي بعد استئناف خدمة القطار بين موسكو وبيونغ يانغ في يونيو الماضي، والتي تستغرق 10 أيام.
وستنطلق الرحلة الأولى من مطار شيريميتيفو في موسكو الساعة 7 مساءً بتوقيت موسكو (16:00 بتوقيت غرينتش)، وستكون على متن طائرة بوينغ 777-200ER بسعة 440 راكباً، وفقاً لوكالة الأنباء الروسية.
وأشارت الوكالة إلى أن أسعار التذاكر بدأت من 44700 روبل (563 دولاراً أمريكياً)، وقد نفدت تذاكر الرحلة الأولى بسرعة.
وأصدرت هيئة الطيران المدني الروسية روسافياتسيا تصريحاً لشركة نوردويند إيرلاينز لتسيير رحلتين أسبوعياً بين موسكو وبيونغ يانغ، بينما أوضحت وزارة النقل الروسية أن الرحلات ستُنفذ حالياً مرة واحدة شهرياً بهدف بناء طلب مستقر.
وكانت الخطوط الجوية الكورية الشمالية إير كوريو تُسيّر رحلات مباشرة إلى فلاديفوستوك في أقصى شرق روسيا ثلاث مرات أسبوعياً، وهي الخط الجوي المباشر الوحيد بين البلدين حتى الآن.
تأتي هذه الخطوة في ظل اتهامات من أوكرانيا وحلفائها الغربيين لكوريا الشمالية بتزويد روسيا بالمدفعية والصواريخ الباليستية لدعم حملتها العسكرية في أوكرانيا، وهي اتهامات تنفيها موسكو وبيونغ يانغ.
وكان الزعيم الكوري الشمالي كيم جونغ أون قد أعلن هذا الشهر استعداده لدعم روسيا بلا قيود في جهودها لحل النزاع في أوكرانيا، إذ أرسلت بيونغ يانغ أكثر من 10000 جندي وأسلحة إلى روسيا.
The Russian authorities announced the launch of direct flights between the capital Moscow and the city of Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, starting today (Sunday), in a move aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries.
These flights are the first of their kind between the two capitals since the mid-1990s, according to Russian aviation blogs, and come after the resumption of train service between Moscow and Pyongyang last June, which takes 10 days.
The first flight will depart from Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow at 7 PM Moscow time (16:00 GMT), and will be on a Boeing 777-200ER with a capacity of 440 passengers, according to the Russian news agency.
The agency noted that ticket prices started from 44,700 rubles (563 US dollars), and tickets for the first flight sold out quickly.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency, Rosaviatsiya, issued a permit for Nordwind Airlines to operate two flights weekly between Moscow and Pyongyang, while the Russian Ministry of Transport clarified that flights will currently be conducted once a month with the aim of building stable demand.
North Korean Airlines, Air Koryo, used to operate direct flights to Vladivostok in the far east of Russia three times a week, which is the only direct air route between the two countries so far.
This move comes amid accusations from Ukraine and its Western allies against North Korea of supplying Russia with artillery and ballistic missiles to support its military campaign in Ukraine, accusations that Moscow and Pyongyang deny.
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un announced this month his readiness to support Russia unconditionally in its efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, as Pyongyang has sent more than 10,000 soldiers and weapons to Russia.
