حققت جامعة الملك فهد للبترول والمعادن إنجازاً أكاديمياً عالمياً جديداً بدخولها قائمة أفضل 100 جامعة في العالم، بعدما حصدت المرتبة 67 عالمياً، وفق تصنيف «كيو إس» لعام 2025. ويعكس هذا الإنجاز مسيرة التحول الإستراتيجي التي أطلقتها الجامعة 2020، والتي قادتها للارتقاء من المرتبة 200 إلى موقعها الحالي خلال 5 أعوام فقط.
ورفع وزير الطاقة رئيس مجلس أمناء الجامعة الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سلمان، الشكر للقيادة، على دعمها المستمر الذي عزز جودة المخرجات الأكاديمية والبحثية. وأكد رئيس الجامعة الدكتور محمد السقاف، أن هذا التقدم يترجم الرؤية الطموحة للجامعة وطموحها نحو العالمية.

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals has achieved a new global academic milestone by entering the list of the top 100 universities in the world, having ranked 67th globally, according to the QS ranking for 2025. This achievement reflects the strategic transformation journey launched by the university in 2020, which has led it to rise from 200th place to its current position in just 5 years.
The Minister of Energy and Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, expressed gratitude to the leadership for their continuous support, which has enhanced the quality of academic and research outputs. The university's president, Dr. Mohammed Al-Suqaf, confirmed that this progress translates the university's ambitious vision and its aspirations towards global recognition.
