يدخل لاعب منتخبنا الوطني سالم الدوسري المباراة الودية أمام الجزائر، التي ستقام على ملعب الفيصل بجدة، اليوم الثلاثاء عند الساعة 7:30 مساءً. وسيبحث الدوسري عن تحقيق الرقم المئوي، إذ يبعد 90 دقيقة فقط من الوصول إلى هذا الرقم في المشاركات الدولية مع الأخضر.
يذكر أن هذه المباراة تأتي جزءاً من التحضيرات لبطولة كأس العرب، التي ستقام في شهر ديسمبر المقبل بقطر.
وسينضم الدوسري إلى «نادي المئة» التابع للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (FIFA)، الذي يضم اللاعبين الذين خاضوا 100 مباراة أو أكثر مع منتخباتهم الوطنية.
وخلال السنوات الماضية، انضم 17 لاعباً سعودياً فقط إلى «نادي المئة»، يتصدرهم الحارس الأخطبوط محمد الدعيع الذي خاض 174 مباراة دولية، وهو الرقم الأعلى في تاريخ الكرة السعودية، ويُنتظر أن يكون الدوسري اللاعب رقم 18 الذي يحقق هذا الإنجاز، في حال مشاركته أمام الجزائر.
وخاض الدوسري قبل هذه المواجهة 99 مباراة دولية حتى الآن، شارك في 89 منها لاعباً أساسياً، بينما دخل بديلاً في 10 مناسبات فقط، وتمكن قائد الأخضر من تسجيل 24 هدفاً، من بينها خمس ركلات جزاء ناجحة، وأخفق في 6 ركلات أخرى، وأبرز هدف سجله في مرمى الأرجنتين في كأس العالم التي أقيمت في قطر 2022، وكانت مشاركات الدوسري موزعة على بطولات واستحقاقات عدة، إذ لعب 30 مباراة ودية، وشارك في 30 مباراة ضمن تصفيات كأس العالم، إلى جانب 6 مباريات في نهائيات كأس العالم، و15 مباراة في كأس الخليج.

In recent years, only 17 Saudi players have joined the "Century Club," led by the octopus goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Deayea, who played 174 international matches, the highest number in the history of Saudi football. Al-Dosari is expected to be the 18th player to achieve this milestone if he participates against Algeria.
Before this match, Al-Dosari has played 99 international matches so far, starting in 89 of them, while coming on as a substitute in only 10 occasions. The captain of the Green has managed to score 24 goals, including five successful penalties, and he missed six other penalties. One of his most notable goals was against Argentina in the World Cup held in Qatar in 2022. Al-Dosari's appearances have been distributed across various tournaments and competitions, as he played 30 friendly matches, participated in 30 matches in the World Cup qualifiers, alongside 6 matches in the World Cup finals, and 15 matches in the Gulf Cup.
