شهدت مواجهة بيرسيب باندونج الإندونيسي وراتشابوري التايلندي، ضمن إياب دور الـ16 من منافسات دوري أبطال آسيا 2، أحداثًا متوترة أعقبت صافرة النهاية، تمثلت في محاولة اعتداء جماهيرية على طاقم التحكيم السعودي الذي أدار اللقاء.
وقاد المباراة الحكم الدولي السعودي ماجد الشمراني، بمساندة الحكمين المساعدين عمر الجمل وهشام الرفاعي، فيما تولّى سلطان الحربي مهمات حكم تقنية الفيديو (VAR).
وتصاعدت حدة التوتر داخل المدرجات في الدقائق الأخيرة من المواجهة، قبل أن تتطور الأوضاع بمحاولة اقتراب عدد من الجماهير من أرضية الملعب، ما استدعى تدخل الجهات الأمنية لتأمين الطاقم التحكيمي ومنع أي احتكاك مباشر.
وغادر الشمراني وطاقمه أرضية الميدان وسط حماية أمنية مشددة، في مشهد عكس حجم الاحتقان الذي رافق اللقاء، خصوصًا عقب قرارات تحكيمية أثارت اعتراضات واسعة من جانب جماهير الفريق المستضيف.
ومن المنتظر أن ترفع الجهات المختصة تقريرًا رسميًا إلى الاتحاد الآسيوي لكرة القدم، يتضمن تفاصيل ما جرى داخل الملعب ومحيطه، تمهيدًا لدراسة الأحداث واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة وفق اللوائح المعتمدة.
