حقق لاعب المنتخب السعودي لألعاب القوى البارالمبية هاني النخلي المركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في مسابقة رمي القرص، ضمن منافسات ألعاب القوى في دورة الألعاب الرياضية السادسة للتضامن الإسلامي «الرياض 2025»، التي أُقيمت في مدينة الأمير فيصل بن فهد الرياضية.
وجاء فوز النخلي بعد تحقيقه مسافة (30.92)م محققًا (950) نقطة، فيما نال الأردني أحمد هندي الميدالية الفضية بـ (893) نقطة، والعراقي حسين خفاجي الميدالية البرونزية بـ (881) نقطة.
كما توّج لاعب المنتخب السعودي لألعاب القوى حسين آل حزام بالمركز الأول والميدالية الذهبية في مسابقة القفز بالعصا بعد أن سجّل ارتفاعاً بلغ (5.65)م، ونال العداء السعودي عبدالعزيز العطافي المركز الثاني والميدالية الفضية في سباق (100)م بزمن (10.32) ثوانٍ، فيما ذهبت الميدالية الذهبية لعدّاء من سلطنة عُمان، والبرونزية لممثل الكاميرون.
وفي سباق (1,500)م، تأهل لاعب الأخضر رائد الجدعاني إلى النهائي، بعد أن أنهى التصفيات بزمن (4:02.58) دقائق محققاً المركز الخامس.
The Saudi national team athlete in Paralympic athletics, Hani Al-Nakhli, achieved first place and the gold medal in the discus throw competition, as part of the athletics events in the sixth Islamic Solidarity Games "Riyadh 2025," held at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City.
Al-Nakhli's victory came after he achieved a distance of (30.92)m, scoring (950) points, while Jordanian athlete Ahmad Hindi won the silver medal with (893) points, and Iraqi athlete Hussein Khafaji took the bronze medal with (881) points.
Additionally, Saudi athletics team player Hussein Al-Hizam was crowned first place and awarded the gold medal in the pole vault competition after recording a height of (5.65)m. Saudi runner Abdulaziz Al-Otaifi secured second place and the silver medal in the (100)m race with a time of (10.32) seconds, while the gold medal went to a runner from the Sultanate of Oman, and the bronze to a representative from Cameroon.
In the (1,500)m race, green team player Raed Al-Jadani qualified for the final after finishing the qualifiers with a time of (4:02.58) minutes, achieving fifth place.
