عاد نادي الاتحاد للتفاوض مجدداً مع نادي زينيت الروسي من أجل الظفر بخدمات اللاعب البرازيلي بيدرو هنريكي بعد أن أوقف مفاوضاته مع نادي سبورتينغ براغا البرتغالي، على الرغم من إن الأخير أعطى موافقته لانتقال النجم الشاب روجر فرنانديز.
ويطمح الاتحاد حامل لقبَي كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين ودوري روشن السعودي، لتعزيز صفوفه قبل خوض غمار دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة من، خلال حسم إحدى الصفقتين قبل إغلاق سوق الانتقالات في السعودية يوم 10 سبتمبر الجاري، وتسعى الإدارة الاتحادية للمفاضلة بين اللاعبين، وقد شارك فرنانديز في الموسم الماضي بقميص سبورتينغ لشبونة في 48 مباراة، سجل خلالها خمسة أهداف، وقدم أربع تمريرات حاسمة، كما كان ضمن قائمة منتخب البرتغال تحت 21 عاماً في بطولة أمم أوروبا الصيف الماضي.
وكان الصحفي الفرنسي الموثوق سانتي أونا قد كشف أن إدارة الاتحاد تقدمت بعرض رسمي إلى نادي زينيت الروسي من أجل التعاقد مع الجناح الأيسر بيدرو هنريكي، مقابل 35 مليون يورو. وأوضح أونا أن نادي الاتحاد توصّل إلى اتفاق شفهي مع زينيت الروسي بشأن انتقال الجناح البرازيلي، إضافة إلى اتفاق مماثل مع اللاعب نفسه، مشيراً إلى أن بيدرو يبدي رغبة واضحة في الانتقال الفوري إلى الاتحاد، الأمر الذي يدفعه للضغط على إدارة زينيت من أجل إتمام الصفقة خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية.
وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن تحركات إدارة الاتحاد لتعزيز الجانب الهجومي، في ظل سعي المدرب الفرنسي لوران بلان لبناء فريق قادر على المنافسة بقوة في مختلف البطولات.
وفي حال اكتمال الصفقة، فسينضم اللاعب المولود عام 2006 إلى الاتحاد بوصفه لاعباً من فئة المواليد، ما يمنح النادي إضافة شابة جديدة في قائمته.
The Al-Ittihad Club has resumed negotiations with the Russian club Zenit to secure the services of Brazilian player Pedro Henrique after halting its talks with the Portuguese club Sporting Braga, despite the latter having given its approval for the transfer of young star Roger Fernandes.
Al-Ittihad, the holder of both the King’s Cup and the Roshen Saudi League titles, aims to strengthen its squad before entering the elite AFC Champions League, by finalizing one of the deals before the transfer market closes in Saudi Arabia on September 10. The club's management is seeking to choose between the players, and Fernandes participated last season in 48 matches wearing the Sporting Lisbon jersey, during which he scored five goals and provided four assists. He was also part of the Portugal U21 national team in the European Championship last summer.
The reliable French journalist Santi Aouna revealed that Al-Ittihad's management has made an official offer to Zenit for the left winger Pedro Henrique, amounting to 35 million euros. Aouna clarified that Al-Ittihad reached a verbal agreement with Zenit regarding the transfer of the Brazilian winger, in addition to a similar agreement with the player himself, noting that Pedro shows a clear desire to move immediately to Al-Ittihad, which drives him to pressure Zenit's management to complete the deal during the summer transfer window.
This step is part of Al-Ittihad's management efforts to enhance the attacking side, as French coach Laurent Blanc seeks to build a team capable of competing strongly in various tournaments.
If the deal is completed, the player, born in 2006, will join Al-Ittihad as a player from the birth category, providing the club with a new young addition to its roster.
