خسر المنتخب الوطني الأول لكرة قدم الصالات مباراته النهائية في بطولة القارات الدولية الودية لكرة قدم الصالات 2025، أمام نظيره منتخب تايلند بنتيجة 3-2، في اللقاء الذي أُقيم على صالة نونتابوري بالعاصمة التايلندية بانكوك.
وسجّل هدفي «أخضر الصالات» كلٌ من فرحان الأسمري، وعبدالله مغربي.
وبذلك يختتم المنتخب الوطني مشاركته في البطولة بالحصول على المركز الثاني والميداليات الفضية، بعد مشوار حافل بالنتائج الإيجابية، حقق خلاله العلامة الكاملة في دور المجموعات بانتصارات على منتخبات أستراليا، زامبيا، وبيلاروسيا، ثم الفوز في نصف النهائي على الصين تايبيه.
كما شهدت البطولة تتويج الحارس السعودي حمود الدهان بجائزة أفضل حارس مرمى في البطولة، نظير مستوياته المميزة وتألقه اللافت على مدار مباريات البطولة.
وتأتي مشاركة «أخضر الصالات» في هذه البطولة الدولية الودية ضمن البرنامج الفني الإعدادي، تحضيرًا لخوض تصفيات كأس آسيا لكرة قدم الصالات 2026، التي تستضيفها المملكة العربية السعودية في مدينة الدمام خلال الفترة من 20 إلى 24 سبتمبر القادم.
وكانت قرعة التصفيات، التي أُجريت في 6 يونيو الماضي، قد أوقعت المنتخب الوطني في المجموعة الرابعة إلى جانب منتخبات: العراق، باكستان، والصين تايبيه.

The national futsal team lost its final match in the 2025 International Friendly Futsal Championship against its counterpart from Thailand with a score of 3-2, in a match held at the Nontaburi Hall in the Thai capital, Bangkok.
Goals for the "Green Futsal" were scored by Farhan Al-Asmari and Abdullah Maghrabi.
Thus, the national team concludes its participation in the tournament by securing second place and silver medals, after a journey filled with positive results, during which it achieved a perfect score in the group stage with victories over the teams of Australia, Zambia, and Belarus, followed by a win in the semifinals against Chinese Taipei.
The tournament also saw Saudi goalkeeper Hamoud Al-Dahan awarded the Best Goalkeeper of the tournament, in recognition of his outstanding performances and remarkable brilliance throughout the tournament matches.
The participation of the "Green Futsal" in this international friendly tournament is part of the technical preparation program in preparation for the 2026 AFC Futsal Championship qualifiers, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the city of Dammam from September 20 to 24.
The draw for the qualifiers, which took place on June 6, placed the national team in Group D alongside the teams of Iraq, Pakistan, and Chinese Taipei.
