لم يتمالك لاعب خط الوسط الفرنسي المخضرم «بول بوغبا» نفسه وجهش بالبكاء أثناء توقيعه عقد انتقاله لنادي «موناكو» في صفقة انتقال حر، بعد أن فسخ ناديه السابق «يوفنتوس» الإيطالي عقده بالتراضي إثر فشله في اختبار المنشطات خلال فترة لعبه في الدوري الإيطالي، حيث شهد التوقيع لحظات مؤثرة تعاطف الحضور مع اللاعب، إذ حرم من مزاولة اللعب لمدة 18 شهرا انتهت في مارس الماضي، بعد سقوطه في وحل المنشطات في أغسطس 2023، وتحديدا بعد مباراة ضد أودينيزي بالجولة الأولى من الدوري الإيطالي، ووقعت عليه أقصى عقوبة قبل تخفيفها، إذ بحث «بوغبا» عن فرصة لعب جديدة لمواصلة مشواره الكروي، حتى استقر به المطاف في نادي «موناكو» الذي سيدافع عن الوانه حتى 30 يونيو 2027، وأمام الفرنسي المخضرم فرصة ذهبية لإثبات قدراته وتوهجه من جديد وإعادة إحياء مسيرته، إذ سيخوض موناكو منافسات دوري أبطال أوروبا في الموسم الجديد 2025-2026، وهو ما سيضع اللاعب تحت المجهر، خصوصا مع تبقي أقل من عام على انطلاق كأس العالم 2026، فهل يعود لمنتخب الديوك مجدداً ويكرر إنجاز 2018 عندما قاد منتخب بلاه لمنصة التتويج.
