زارت سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، الأميرة ريما بنت بندر بن سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، بعثة فريق الهلال المشاركة في بطولة كأس العالم للأندية 2025، خلال استعدادات الفريق للمشاركة في النسخة الموسعة من البطولة التي تستضيفها الولايات المتحدة بمشاركة 32 نادياً من مختلف القارات.
ويخوض ممثل الكرة السعودية أولى مبارياته في المحفل العالمي يوم الأربعاء أمام نادي ريال مدريد الإسباني، في مواجهة تعيد إلى الأذهان نهائي نسخة 2023 التي جمعت الفريقين على لقب كأس العالم للأندية.
ويشارك الهلال في هذه النسخة بصفته بطل دوري أبطال آسيا 2021، وسط آمال كبيرة بأن يحقق حضوراً مشرّفاً يعكس تطور كرة القدم السعودية ومكانتها المتقدمة على الساحة الدولية.
وأعربت السفيرة خلال الزيارة عن اعتزازها بما يمثله الهلال من حضور وطني، مشيدة بجاهزية البعثة واستعدادها لتشريف المملكة في هذا المحفل العالمي.

The representative of Saudi football will play its first match in the global event on Wednesday against the Spanish club Real Madrid, in a match that recalls the final of the 2023 edition that brought the two teams together for the title of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Hilal is participating in this edition as the champion of the AFC Champions League 2021, with great hopes of achieving a distinguished presence that reflects the development of Saudi football and its advanced status on the international stage.
During the visit, the ambassador expressed her pride in what Al-Hilal represents as a national presence, praising the readiness of the delegation and its preparation to honor the Kingdom in this global event.
