أكد مدربا الاتحاد، والقادسية، جاهزيتهما لخوض نهائي كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين لكرة القدم، الذي سيقام على ملعب مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، في ختام الموسم الرياضي المحلي.
وأوضح مدرب الاتحاد «الفرنسي» لوران بلان أن الفريق أكمل تحضيراته للنهائي، الذي وصفه بالصعب، كون المنافس فريقاً منظماً وقوياً فنياً وبدنياً، مشدداً على أهمية الحضور الذهني والفني والبدني للفوز بالكأس، مشيراً إلى أن حضور ودعم الجماهير سيكون عاملاً محفزاً ومهماً في المباراة.
من جانبه أعرب قائد الاتحاد كريم بنزيما، عن ثقته الكبيرة في فريقه لنيل اللقب، مؤكداً جاهزيته الكاملة لخوض النهائي الذي سيكون صعباً أمام فريق القادسية الذي يمتلك لاعبين مميزين، مبيناً أنهم يسعون لإنهاء الموسم بتحقيق بطولة تُضاف إلى بطولة الدوري التي حققها الفريق.
بدوره أكد مدرب القادسية «الإسباني» خوسيه غونزاليس، جاهزيتهم للنهائي، مشيداً بالمستويات العالية التي قدمها الفريق طوال الموسم وبالأداء المميز في البطولة خصوصاً، مشيراً إلى أن فريقه سيبذل كل ما في وسعه لتحقيق الفوز رغم صعوبة المواجهة أمام فريق الاتحاد ومدربه الذي يُعد الأفضل في الدوري السعودي، وقال: «مباراة الغد مختلفة عن مواجهات الموسم الذي يُعد جيداً لنا وقدمنا خلاله أداءً مميزًا ونطمح لأن يكون ختامه مميزاً».
وقال: «فخور باللاعبين، وثقتي كبيرة في قدراتهم بتقديم مستوى متميز في النهائي، وليس لدينا أي تخوف من مواجهة الاتحاد، إذ نملك العديد من اللاعبين المميزين، ومن ضمنهم القائد ناتشو فيرنانديز، وهو لاعب خبرة خاض العديد من النهائيات، ونال مختلف الألقاب، حيث حقق دوري أبطال أوروبا ست مرات.
بدوره أكد ناتشو خلال المؤتمر الصحفي، جاهزيتهم لخوض النهائي، مبيناً أنهم كلاعبين عازمون على تقديم أداء قوي أمام بطل الدوري السعودي، وتحقيق اللقب ومواصلة مشروع القادسية الجديد.

The coaches of Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadisiyah confirmed their readiness to compete in the final of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for football, which will be held at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, at the conclusion of the local sports season.
Al-Ittihad's coach, the Frenchman Laurent Blanc, stated that the team has completed its preparations for the final, which he described as difficult, as the opponent is a well-organized and strong team both technically and physically. He emphasized the importance of mental, technical, and physical presence to win the cup, noting that the presence and support of the fans will be a motivating and significant factor in the match.
For his part, Al-Ittihad captain Karim Benzema expressed his great confidence in his team to win the title, confirming his full readiness to compete in the final, which will be challenging against Al-Qadisiyah, a team with distinguished players. He indicated that they aim to conclude the season by winning a title to add to the league title the team has already achieved.
Meanwhile, Al-Qadisiyah's coach, the Spaniard José González, confirmed their readiness for the final, praising the high levels the team has shown throughout the season and their outstanding performance in the tournament in particular. He pointed out that his team will do everything possible to achieve victory despite the difficulty of facing Al-Ittihad and its coach, who is considered the best in the Saudi league. He said, "Tomorrow's match is different from the encounters of the season, which has been good for us, and we have delivered a distinguished performance during it, and we aspire for its conclusion to be remarkable."
He added, "I am proud of the players, and I have great confidence in their abilities to deliver an outstanding performance in the final. We have no fear of facing Al-Ittihad, as we have many distinguished players, including captain Nacho Fernandez, who is an experienced player who has participated in many finals and won various titles, having won the UEFA Champions League six times."
