أعلن الاتحاد الفرنسي لكرة القدم غياب مدرب المنتخب الفرنسي، ديدييه ديشان، عن التدريبات والمباراة القادمة أمام منتخب النرويج ضمن الجولة الأخيرة من منافسات المجموعة التاسعة في كأس العالم 2026.
وجاء غياب ديشان بعد تلقيه صباح (الثلاثاء) نبأ وفاة والدته، وسيغادر إلى فرنسا لحضور مراسم الجنازة وتوديعها.
وبالاتفاق مع رئيس الاتحاد الفرنسي لكرة القدم، فيليب ديالو، تقرر أن يتولى المدرب المساعد غي ستيفان قيادة المنتخب الفرنسي بشكل مؤقت والإشراف على الفريق حتى عودة ديشان.
وأكد الاتحاد الفرنسي في بيانه دعمه الكامل للمدرب وعائلته في هذا الظرف الإنساني الصعب، متمنياً لهم الصبر والسلوان خلال هذه الفترة الأليمة.
The French Football Federation announced the absence of the French national team coach, Didier Deschamps, from training and the upcoming match against the Norway national team in the final round of Group 9 in the 2026 World Cup.
Deschamps' absence comes after he received the news of his mother's passing on Tuesday morning, and he will be leaving for France to attend the funeral and say goodbye.
In agreement with the president of the French Football Federation, Philippe Diallo, it has been decided that assistant coach Guy Stéphan will temporarily lead the French national team and oversee the squad until Deschamps returns.
The French Federation confirmed in its statement its full support for the coach and his family during this difficult humanitarian circumstance, wishing them patience and solace during this painful time.
