أكد رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم «فيفا» جياني إنفانتينو، أن بطولة كأس العالم 2026 الحالية هي لأنجح في التاريخ حتى الآن، مشيراً إلى أن الملاعب ممتلئة بنسبة 99.6%، ومدافعاً عن التنظيم رغم الانتقادات الموجهة لأسعار التذاكر.
وقال إنفانتينو في تصريحات نقلتها وكالة إيفي: «حتى الآن المونديال نجح نجاحاً كاملاً وهو الأنجح بالفعل، كل الطرق والملاعب ممتلئة بالجماهير، وكل مدرجات المباريات ممتلئة بنسبة 99.6%، والناس سعداء، والمباريات مثيرة والأهداف كثيرة، وحراس المرمى يلعبون بشكل استثنائي، والأسماء الكبيرة موجودة هنا في هذه النسخة الاستثنائية».
وختم إنفانتينو حديثة: «نحن سعداء جداً، لعبنا 44 مباراة فقط، وتبقى 60 مباراة أخرى. وهذه المباريات الـ60 هي مثل النهائيات، حيث كل شيء على المحك في 90 دقيقة».
