أعلن دوري الملوك تأجيل انطلاق منافسات دوري الملوك الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، التي كان من المقرر إقامتها في الرياض خلال الفترة من مارس إلى مايو 2026، إلى شهر أكتوبر 2026، حيث تم اعتماد التأجيل باعتباره الخيار الأكثر مسؤولية في المرحلة الحالية.
وقال الرئيس التنفيذي لدوري الملوك، جمال أغاوا: «رأينا أن تأجيل انطلاق دوري الملوك الشرق الأوسط حتى أكتوبر 2026 هو القرار الأنسب في هذا التوقيت، بما يضمن تقديم تجربة متكاملة تواكب تطلعاتنا وتطلعات جماهيرنا في المنطقة، ولقد لمسنا خلال الفترة الماضية اهتماماً كبيراً من الجمهور وصنّاع المحتوى، وهو ما يعزز التزامنا بالعودة بشكل أقوى وأكثر جاهزية».
وأضاف: «يمثل هذا التأجيل فرصة للعمل بشكل أعمق مع الفرق والشركاء على تطوير مختلف جوانب التجربة، سواء على مستوى المنافسات أو المحتوى أو التفاعل الجماهيري، ونؤكد أن منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا تمثل أولوية إستراتيجية بالنسبة لنا، وسنواصل العمل لضمان تقديم موسم يرتقي إلى مستوى التوقعات».
ويأتي ذلك بعد النجاح الذي حققته بطولة دوري الملوك الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا التي أقيمت في الرياض خلال أكتوبر ونوفمبر 2025، والتي شكلت انطلاقة مميزة للدوري في المنطقة.
وسيواصل أبرز صنّاع المحتوى والمؤثرين في المنطقة قيادة فرق النخبة بنظام السباعيات، مع نقل جميع المباريات مباشرة وبشكل مجاني وفق القواعد التفاعلية المميزة للدوري.
وخلال الفترة القادمة، سيعمل دوري الملوك على تقديم محتوى وأنشطة جديدة موجهة لجماهير المنطقة، بما يسهم في الحفاظ على مستوى التفاعل، على أن يتم الإعلان عن تفاصيل إضافية في الوقت المناسب.
The Kings League announced the postponement of the Middle East and North Africa Kings League competitions, which were scheduled to take place in Riyadh from March to May 2026, to October 2026. The postponement was approved as the most responsible option at this stage.
The CEO of the Kings League, Jamal Agawa, stated: "We believe that postponing the launch of the Middle East Kings League until October 2026 is the most appropriate decision at this time, ensuring a comprehensive experience that meets our aspirations and those of our fans in the region. We have noticed significant interest from the audience and content creators during the past period, which reinforces our commitment to return stronger and more prepared."
He added: "This postponement represents an opportunity to work more deeply with teams and partners to develop various aspects of the experience, whether in terms of competitions, content, or fan interaction. We confirm that the Middle East and North Africa region is a strategic priority for us, and we will continue to work to ensure a season that meets expectations."
This comes after the success of the Middle East and North Africa Kings League championship held in Riyadh during October and November 2025, which marked a distinctive launch for the league in the region.
Top content creators and influencers in the region will continue to lead elite teams in the sevens format, with all matches being broadcast live and free according to the league's unique interactive rules.
In the coming period, the Kings League will work on providing new content and activities aimed at the region's fans, contributing to maintaining the level of interaction, with additional details to be announced in due course.
