أدرك فريق التعاون تعادلاً قاتلاً مع مضيفه نيوم في اللقاء الذي انتهى بهدفين لكل منهما على استاد مدينة الملك خالد الرياضية بتبوك، وذلك ضمن لقاءات الجولة الـ26 (جولة يوم العلم) لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
شهد اللقاء قوة وإثارة من الفريقين لاسيما في الدقائق الأخيرة من عمر المباراة، وتمكن فريق نيوم من إنهاء الشوط الأول بالتقدم بهدف دون مقابل جاء عن طريق لاعبه لوتشيانو رودريغيز (د: 23)، وفي الشوط الثاني استطاع التعاون إدراك التعادل عن طريق مهاجمه روجيرو مارتينيز (د: 70)، وعاد فريق نيوم للتقدم مجدداً بالنتيجة بواسطة مهاجمه الكسندر لاكازيت (د: 76)، وفي الوقت بدل الضائع تمكن البديل محمد الكويكبي من تسجيل الهدف الثاني والتعادل لفريق التعاون (د: 90+3)، لينتهي اللقاء بالتعادل بهدفين لكل منهما.
وبهذه النتيجة حقق الفريقان تعادلهما السادس في الدوري، ووصل التعاون للنقطة 45 في المركز الـ5، فيما وصل نيوم للنقطة 33 في المركز الـ8.
The Al-Taawoun team achieved a dramatic equalizer against their host, Neom, in a match that ended in a 2-2 draw at King Khalid Sports City Stadium in Tabuk, as part of the 26th round (Flag Day Round) of the Roshan Saudi Professional League.
The match witnessed intensity and excitement from both teams, especially in the final minutes of the game. Neom managed to finish the first half leading with a goal scored by their player Luciano Rodriguez (23rd minute). In the second half, Al-Taawoun was able to equalize through their striker Rogerio Martinez (70th minute), but Neom regained the lead again with a goal from their striker Alexandre Lacazette (76th minute). In stoppage time, substitute Mohammed Al-Kuwaikbi scored the second goal to equalize for Al-Taawoun (90+3 minutes), ending the match in a 2-2 draw.
With this result, both teams recorded their sixth draw in the league, with Al-Taawoun reaching 45 points in 5th place, while Neom reached 33 points in 8th place.
