بعد توقيفه وخضوعه للاستجواب الأسبوع الماضي والإفراج عنه مؤقتاً، أعادت السلطات التركية في إسطنبول إيقاف رئيس نادي فنربخشة الشهير على سعدالدين ساران، في إطار تحقيق واسع حول المخدرات بعد وصول تقرير الطب الشرعي النهائي، وتشمل التهم: تعاطي المخدرات، وتسهيل تعاطي المخدرات، وتوفير وتزويد مواد مخدرة للآخرين.
واستندت السلطات إلى نتائج فحوصات الطب الشرعي التي أظهرت وجود آثار كوكايين في عينة شعر ساران وهو الفحص الذي يكشف التعاطي على مدى أشهر سابقة، بينما جاءت فحوصات الدم والبول والأظافر سلبية.
ساران نافياً التهمة: «حملة تشهير منظمة»
من جانبه نفى ساران بشكل قاطع أي تعاطٍ للمخدرات، ووصف القضية بأنها «حملة تشهير منظمة» ضده وضد النادي، وأعلن نيته إجراء فحوصات جديدة في مختبرات دولية مستقلة معتمدة، ونشر النتائج علناً.
وكتب ساران في بيان على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي: «لم أستخدم قط المادة التي يزعم أنها ظهرت إيجابية في نتائج فحص المعمل الجنائي لم أستخدمها فحسب، بل لم أرها حتى عن قرب».
زلزال في أروقة كرة القدم
وكانت السلطات التركية، قد أثارت زلزالاً في أروقة كرة القدم التركية بعد إلقاء القبض على رئيس نادي فنربخشة الشهير، في إطار تحقيق واسع حول المخدرات.
ووفقاً لما أفادت به وسائل إعلام تركية، تم توقيف ساران، من داخل مكتبه في مقر النادي بإسطنبول، بناءً على أوامر من مكتب المدعي العام في المدينة.
وانتخب سعدالدين ساران رجل الأعمال التركي-الأمريكي الذي يبلغ من العمر نحو 61 عاماً، رئيساً لفنربخشة في سبتمبر الماضي، بعد منافسة انتخابية حادة تغلب فيها على الرئيس السابق علي كوج.
فنربخشة نثق ببراءة رئيس النادي
وأصدر نادي فنربخشة بياناً رسمياً أكد فيه دعمه الكامل لساران، مشيراً إلى ثقته ببراءته وبقدرته على تجاوز «هذه المحنة» بنفس الحكمة التي عُرف بها. وطمأن النادي جماهيره باستمرار العمل الإداري والرياضي دون انقطاع.
ويعتبر نادي فنربخشة أحد أكبر وأشهر الأندية الرياضية في تركيا، تأسس عام 1907، ويُعد من أكثر الأندية شعبية ونجاحاً في كرة القدم التركية وثاني أكثر الأندية تتويجاً بالدوري بعد غالاتاسراي، ويمتلك قاعدة جماهيرية هائلة وتاريخاً حافلاً بالبطولات المحلية والقارية.
After his arrest and questioning last week and his temporary release, Turkish authorities in Istanbul have re-arrested the famous Fenerbahçe club president Ali Şahin Sarı, as part of a wide-ranging drug investigation following the arrival of the final forensic report. The charges include: drug use, facilitating drug use, and providing and supplying narcotic substances to others.
The authorities relied on the results of forensic tests that showed traces of cocaine in Sarı's hair sample, which is a test that reveals drug use over the previous months, while blood, urine, and nail tests came back negative.
Sarı Denies the Charge: "A Coordinated Smear Campaign"
For his part, Sarı categorically denied any drug use, describing the case as a "coordinated smear campaign" against him and the club. He announced his intention to conduct new tests in accredited independent international laboratories and to publish the results publicly.
Sarı wrote in a statement on social media: "I have never used the substance that is claimed to have tested positive in the forensic lab results; not only have I not used it, but I have never even seen it up close."
Earthquake in the Halls of Football
The Turkish authorities have caused an earthquake in the halls of Turkish football after the arrest of the famous Fenerbahçe club president as part of a wide-ranging drug investigation.
According to Turkish media reports, Sarı was arrested from his office at the club's headquarters in Istanbul based on orders from the city’s public prosecutor's office.
Ali Şahin Sarı, the Turkish-American businessman who is about 61 years old, was elected president of Fenerbahçe last September after a fierce electoral competition in which he defeated the former president Ali Koç.

Fenerbahçe Club issued an official statement confirming its full support for Sarı, expressing confidence in his innocence and his ability to overcome "this ordeal" with the wisdom he is known for. The club reassured its fans that administrative and sporting work would continue uninterrupted.
Fenerbahçe is considered one of the largest and most famous sports clubs in Turkey, founded in 1907, and is one of the most popular and successful clubs in Turkish football, being the second most decorated club in the league after Galatasaray, with a massive fan base and a rich history of local and continental championships.
