The new update on the "Absher" platform allows citizens to issue and renew their passports without the requirement of paying traffic violations as a primary condition when requesting the service.

The Absher platform has permitted the issuance or renewal of passports without the condition of paying traffic violations, aiming to facilitate procedures and reduce obstacles when completing their official transactions, to accomplish services quickly and efficiently, which contributes to improving the beneficiary's experience.

It is worth mentioning that the electronic platform of the Ministry of Interior, "Absher," executed (41,104,448) electronic transactions for beneficiaries through Absher Individuals and Businesses during the past month of December.

Through the Absher Individuals platform, the number of executed transactions reached 38,495,732, which included 31,884,329 document viewing operations through the digital wallet available to citizens, residents, and visitors via the Absher app, while the number of transactions on the Absher Businesses platform reached 2,608,716.

The number of executed transactions for the General Directorate of Public Security services reached 3,638,165 transactions, of which 3,546,449 transactions were in the General Traffic Department, while the number of executed transactions in the General Directorate of Passports reached 2,311,995 transactions, and 538,997 transactions were executed in the Ministry of Interior's Civil Status Agency.

Through the public services on the Absher Individuals platform, 135,489 reports were issued in the Absher Reports service, along with 1,770 general inquiries about fingerprints, and 225 requests for document delivery by mail.
