أكد مصدر مسؤول بنادي فياريال الإسباني أن ناديه لم يتلق عرضاً من الأهلي حتى هذه اللحظة للتعاقد مع نجم خط الوسط السنغالي باب غاي خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية.
وكانت تقارير صحفية قد أشارت خلال الساعات الماضية إلى أن الأهلي يعتبر باب غاي خياراً جدياً لتعزيز خط وسطه، ويأتي هذا الاهتمام في ظل غموض مصير فرانك كيسيه، الذي انتهى عقده.
الأهلي لم يطلب غاي
وقال المصدر في تصريحات خاصة لـ«عكاظ»: «لم نتلق عرضاً من الأهلي للتعاقد مع باي غاي حتى هذه اللحظة، ولا توجد أي محادثات شفهية بين الناديين، العرض السعودي الوحيد كان لمديرنا الرياضي ميغيل أنخيل تينا».
شرط رحيل اللاعب
وأضاف: «نحن سعداء جداً باللاعب، ولا نفكر في بيعه إلا في حال دفع قيمة الشرط الجزائي في عقده، الذي يتراوح بين 45 إلى 50 مليون يورو».
عقد ممتد.. وقيمة سوقية مرتفعة
ويمتد عقد لاعب الوسط السنغالي مع فياريال حتى 30 يونيو 2028، فيما تُقدر قيمته السوقية بـ40 مليون يورو، بحسب موقع «ترانسفير ماركت».

وشارك باب غاي في 37 مباراة بقميص فياريال في مختلف المسابقات الموسم الماضي، سجل خلالها خمسة أهداف وقدم تمريرتين حاسمتين.

Condition for the player's departure
He added: "We are very happy with the player, and we do not consider selling him unless the release clause in his contract, which ranges between 45 to 50 million euros, is paid."
Extended contract and high market value
The Senegalese midfielder's contract with Villarreal extends until June 30, 2028, while his market value is estimated at 40 million euros, according to the "Transfermarkt" website.
