أعلن منتخب أستراليا، اليوم (السبت)، غياب الثنائي جاكوب إيتاليانو وماثيو ليكي عن المباراة القادمة أمام مصر، المقررة يوم الجمعة القادم، ضمن منافسات دور الـ32 من بطولة كأس العالم 2026.

وقال المنتخب الأسترالي في بيان: «للأسف، سيغيب كل من جاكوب إيتاليانو وماثيو ليكي عن بقية منافسات كأس العالم بسبب الإصابة،نتمنى لهما الشفاء العاجل، ونشكرهما على ما قدماه خلال هذه المشاركة».
مشوار مصر وأستراليا إلى دور الـ32
وتأهل منتخب مصر إلى دور الـ32 بعدما احتل المركز الثاني في المجموعة السابعة برصيد 5 نقاط، بفارق الأهداف خلف منتخب بلجيكا متصدر المجموعة، بينما صعد منتخب أستراليا إلى الدور ذاته بعد حلوله وصيفاً للمجموعة الرابعة برصيد 4 نقاط، متأخراً بنقطتين عن منتخب الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
نظام التأهل إلى دور الـ32
ويتأهل صاحبا المركزين الأول والثاني من كل مجموعة إلى دور الـ32، إلى جانب أفضل 8 منتخبات احتلت المركز الثالث، وفق نظام البطولة.

Egypt and Australia's Journey to the Round of 32
The Egyptian national team qualified for the Round of 32 after finishing second in Group G with 5 points, trailing Belgium, the group leader, on goal difference, while the Australian team advanced to the same round after finishing as runners-up in Group D with 4 points, two points behind the United States.
