وافق نادي مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي على رحيل نجمه رودري إلى برشلونة الإسباني خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الحالية، بحسب ما أورده الصحفي الإيطالي الشهير فابريزو رومانو.
وكتب رومانو عبر حسابه على منصة «إكس»: «أعطى مانشستر سيتي الضوء الأخضر لرحيل رودري إلى برشلونة بعد وصول العرض الأخير».
عرض ثالث يقنع السيتي
وكان مانشستر سيتي قد رفض العرض الأول الذي بلغت قيمته 45 مليون يورو، إلى جانب إضافات، ثم رفض عرضاً ثانياً يصل إلى نحو 65 مليون يورو، فيما وصلت قيمة العرض الثالث الذي قدمه برشلونة إلى 70 مليون يورو.
تحول مفاجئ في وجهة رودري
يُذكر أن رودري أعطى الضوء الأخضر للانضمام إلى ريال مدريد في وقت سابق، قبل أن يُغير قراره باختيار برشلونة، بعد مكالمة من مدرب «البلوغرانا» هانز فليك.
أفضل لاعب في المونديال
وتُوج رودري الشهر الماضي بجائزة أفضل لاعب في كأس العالم 2026، بعد مساهمته المؤثرة في تتويج منتخب إسبانيا باللقب للمرة الثانية في تاريخه، عقب الفوز على الأرجنتين بنتيجة 1-0 في المباراة النهائية.
Manchester City has agreed to let their star Rodri leave for Spanish club Barcelona during the current summer transfer window, according to renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Romano wrote on his account on the platform "X": "Manchester City has given the green light for Rodri's departure to Barcelona after receiving the latest offer."
A Third Offer Convincing City
Manchester City had rejected the first offer of 45 million euros, along with add-ons, and then turned down a second offer of around 65 million euros, while the third offer made by Barcelona reached 70 million euros.
A Sudden Shift in Rodri's Destination
It is worth noting that Rodri had previously given the green light to join Real Madrid before changing his decision to choose Barcelona, following a call from "Blaugrana" coach Hans Flick.
Best Player in the World Cup
Rodri was awarded the Best Player in the 2026 World Cup last month, after his significant contribution to Spain's victory in the tournament for the second time in its history, following a 1-0 win over Argentina in the final match.
