تغلب مانشستر سيتي على مضيفه كريستال بالاس بثلاثة أهداف دون رد، في المباراة التي جمعتهما اليوم (الأحد) على ملعب «سيلهَرست بارك»، ضمن منافسات الجولة الـ16 من الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز (بريميرليغ).
هالاند وفودين يسجلان ثلاثية السيتي
أنهى مانشستر سيتي الشوط الأول متقدماً بهدف سجله المهاجم النرويجي إيرلينغ هالاند بضربة رأس في الدقيقة 41، مستفيداً من عرضية ماتيوس نونيز.
وفي الشوط الثاني، عزز فيل فودين تقدم «السماوي» بإحرازه الهدف الثاني عند الدقيقة 69، بعد تسديدة أرضية متقنة من على حدود منطقة الجزاء استقرت في الزاوية اليسرى لحارس كريستال بالاس.
وعاد هالاند ليؤكد تفوق فريقه بتسجيل الهدف الثالث في الدقيقة 89 من ركلة جزاء نفذها بنجاح على يسار الحارس.
السيتي يواصل مطاردة أرسنال
بهذا الفوز، رفع مانشستر سيتي رصيده إلى 34 نقطة في المركز الثاني بجدول ترتيب الدوري الإنجليزي، معيداً الفارق إلى نقطتين مع أرسنال المتصدر، فيما تجمد رصيد كريستال بالاس عند 26 نقطة في المركز الخامس.

Haaland and Foden score City's hat-trick
Manchester City ended the first half leading with a goal scored by Norwegian striker Erling Haaland with a header in the 41st minute, benefiting from a cross by Matheus Nunes.
In the second half, Phil Foden extended the "Sky Blues'" lead by scoring the second goal in the 69th minute, after a precise ground shot from the edge of the penalty area that settled in the left corner of the Crystal Palace goalkeeper.
Haaland returned to confirm his team's superiority by scoring the third goal in the 89th minute from a penalty kick successfully executed to the left of the goalkeeper.
City continues to chase Arsenal
With this victory, Manchester City raised their tally to 34 points in second place in the English Premier League standings, reducing the gap to two points with the leaders Arsenal, while Crystal Palace's tally remained at 26 points in fifth place.
