أكد مدرب ليفربول آرني سلوت جاهزية حارس مرمى الفريق أليسون بيكر لمواجهة نوتنغهام فورست بعد غياب دام 7 أسابيع بسبب إصابة في عضلات الفخذ الخلفية.
ويستعد ليفربول لمواجهة نوتنغهام فورست غداً (السبت) على ملعب «أنفيلد»، ضمن منافسات الجولة الثانية عشرة من مسابقة الدوري الإنجليزي.
وقال سلوت خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق اللقاء: «أليسون جاهز للمشاركة أمام نوتنغهام إذا سارت الأمور بشكل جيد اليوم».
غياب برادلي وفيرتز
وأكد مدرب ليفربول غياب كونور برادلي وفلوريان فيرتز عن لقاء الغد، بسبب مشكلات عضلية تعرضا لها خلال فترة التوقف الدولي، مشيراً إلى أن غياب برادلي قد يمتد إلى 3 أسابيع.
سؤال «غير متوقع»
وحول إمكانية تدعيم الفريق بصفقات دفاعية في الميركاتو الشتوي، أجاب: «لم أكن أتوقع الحديث عن التعاقدات، هناك العديد من المباريات التي يجب لعبها قبل ذلك، وفي الوضع الذي نحن فيه، هذا آخر شيء أفكر فيه، ليس موضوعاً بالنسبة لي في الوقت الحالي».
وختم: «لدينا 3 مدافعين في الوقت الحالي، وربما رايان جرافيبنرش وإندو يمكنهما اللعب في هذا المركز. هناك مراكز أخرى تشكل مشكلة أكبر قليلاً».
