رفض إنترميلان الهدية الذهبية التي قدمها له فريق بارما بالتعادل سلبياً مع المتصدر نابولي، ليمنح إنترميلان الفرصة لخطف صدارة الدوري الإيطالي قبل جولة واحدة من نهايته، إلا أن إنتر كان له رأي آخر وتعادل أمام لاتسيو بنتيجة (2-2) مع إلغاء هدف للإنتر في اللحظات الأخيرة لارناتوفيتش؛ ليبقى الصراع مفتوحاً حتى الجولة الأخيرة من البطولة.
من جهته تمكن روما من الفوز على الميلان المنقوص 3-1 بأهداف مانشيني وباريديس وكريستانتي، بينما سجل للميلان خيمينيز. من جهته، فاز يوفنتوس على اودينيزي 2-0 بهدفي غونزاليس وفلاهوفيتش.
