أحبط الجيش اليمني مساء اليوم (الأحد) هجوماً حوثياً جديداً على مديرية المخا غرب تعز، وتمكن من تدمير 6 مسيّرات.
وقال مسؤول عسكري في بيان: «الحوثي جدد هجومه على أحياء وميناء المخا مساء اليوم، لكن قواتنا كانت له بالمرصاد وتمكنت من تدمير 6 مسيّرات، فيما سقط صاروخان بالستيان في البحر دون إصابة أي هدف».
وأشار إلى أن الاستهداف الحوثي المتكرر يكشف العداء الحوثي الواضح للشعب اليمني وإصراره على تجويعهم، مبيناً أن الدفاعات الجوية تقوم بأداء واجبها في التصدي للهجمات وحماية المدينة والمنشآت المدنية.

ودعا المصدر العسكري في المخا جميع المواطنين إلى المكوث في منازلهم وعدم التجمهر لمشاهدة الاعتراضات، وتجنب الوقوف أو الجلوس بالقرب من النوافذ والشرفات حفاظاً على سلامتهم، مشدداً على عدم الاقتراب من أي أجسام أو شظايا ساقطة، والالتزام بتعليمات الجهات المختصة، وعدم تداول الشائعات أو المعلومات غير المؤكدة.
ولفت إلى أن وحدات الدفاع والمضادات الأرضية تتعامل باحترافية ويقظة عالية، وهو ما أفشل الهجمات الحوثية العشوائية على الأحياء والمنشآت المدنية، ما أدى إلى عدم إصابة أي هدف داخل مدينة وميناء المخا.
وذكر المصدر أن عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي الفريق ركن طارق محمد عبدالله صالح موجود في غرفة العمليات، ويشرف بشكل مباشر على إدارة العمليات العسكرية، وسيتم الرد على التصعيد الحوثي، ولن يسمح بأن تكون المخا رهينة للحوثي وللمشروع الإيراني.
وكان طارق صالح قد ظهر في فيديو وهو عائد من إحدى الجبهات التي كان يزورها صباح اليوم، ويدخل غرفة العمليات، مؤكداً في تصريح مصور أن الرد على الحوثي سيكون حازماً.
The Yemeni army thwarted a new Houthi attack on the Al-Mokha district west of Taiz this evening (Sunday) and managed to destroy 6 drones.
A military official stated in a statement: “The Houthis renewed their attack on the neighborhoods and port of Al-Mokha this evening, but our forces were on high alert and managed to destroy 6 drones, while two ballistic missiles fell into the sea without hitting any targets.”
He pointed out that the repeated Houthi targeting reveals their clear hostility towards the Yemeni people and their insistence on starving them, indicating that the air defenses are performing their duty in countering the attacks and protecting the city and civilian facilities.

The military source in Al-Mokha called on all citizens to stay in their homes and not to gather to watch the interceptions, and to avoid standing or sitting near windows and balconies for their safety, emphasizing not to approach any fallen objects or shrapnel, and to adhere to the instructions of the relevant authorities, and not to circulate rumors or unverified information.
He noted that the defense and ground anti-aircraft units are operating with professionalism and high vigilance, which has thwarted the random Houthi attacks on neighborhoods and civilian facilities, resulting in no targets being hit inside the city and port of Al-Mokha.
The source mentioned that the member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, is present in the operations room, directly overseeing the management of military operations, and that a response to the Houthi escalation will be made, ensuring that Al-Mokha will not be held hostage by the Houthis or the Iranian project.
Tariq Saleh appeared in a video returning from one of the fronts he was visiting this morning and entering the operations room, confirming in a recorded statement that the response to the Houthis will be decisive.
