فيما أكدت هيئة بحرية بريطانية أن حركة المرور عبر مضيق هرمز لا تزال منخفضة ومستقرة في الخليج، أعرب مسؤولون إسرائيليون اليوم (الأحد) عن استيائهم من إيقاف الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب الهجوم على إيران.
ونقلت هيئة البث عن مسؤولين إسرائيليين قولهم: من الصعب الاستعداد والتخطيط بجدية للمستقبل مع الطريقة التي يدير بها ترمب الأمور، موضحين أن غالبية المحادثات تدور حالياً حول مضيق هرمز ولا نعرف مصير بقية القضايا.
وأشار المسؤولون الإسرائيليون إلى أن هناك استفهاماً بشأن مخزون اليورانيوم بإيران وتعهدات إدارة ترمب بشأن سلوك طهران.
ونقلت صحيفة يديعوت أحرونوت عن مسؤول إسرائيلي قوله إن إيران أهم أولويات بلادهم لكن هناك صعوبة يواجهونها عندما لا يكون قرار واشنطن واضحاً.
وأوضح المسؤول الإسرائيلي أن التعاون مع الشريك الأمريكي رصيد إستراتيجي وفوائده تفوق الصعوبات الناجمة عن الاضطرار إلى الحفاظ على حالة التأهب في ظل القرارات الأمريكية المتغيرة.
ولفت إلى أن المؤسسة الأمنية الإسرائيلية قلقة من عدم القدرة على التنبؤ بقرارات ترمب، موضحة أن ذلك قد يضر على المدى الطويل بقدرة الجيش الإسرائيلي على إبقاء مختلف تشكيلاته في حالة تأهب قصوى لفترات ممتدة.
وقالت مصادر إسرائيلية للقناة 12 إن رئيس الوزراء بنيامين نتنياهو وأعضاء المجلس الوزاري المصغر علموا بقرار إلغاء الهجوم على إيران من منشور ترمب، مضيفة: عشنا ساعات طويلة من عدم اليقين، وترمب أبقانا في حالة من الضبابية، والشعور كان بسيطاً.. لقد تركنا وحدنا.
في المقابل، قال الرئيس الإيراني مسعود بزشكيان: مذكرة التفاهم مع أمريكا ستكون محور علاقاتنا الخارجية مستقبلاً ويجب الالتزام بما تم التوقيع عليه.
While a British maritime authority confirmed that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz remains low and stable in the Gulf, Israeli officials expressed their dissatisfaction today (Sunday) with President Donald Trump's decision to halt the attack on Iran.
Israeli officials were quoted by the broadcasting authority as saying: It is difficult to prepare and plan seriously for the future with the way Trump is managing things, explaining that most discussions are currently revolving around the Strait of Hormuz and we do not know the fate of the other issues.
The Israeli officials pointed out that there are questions regarding Iran's uranium stockpile and Trump's administration's commitments regarding Tehran's behavior.
The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth quoted an Israeli official as saying that Iran is their country's top priority, but they face difficulties when Washington's decisions are not clear.
The Israeli official clarified that cooperation with the American partner is a strategic asset, and its benefits outweigh the difficulties arising from the need to maintain a state of readiness amid changing American decisions.
He noted that the Israeli security establishment is concerned about the unpredictability of Trump's decisions, explaining that this could harm the Israeli army's ability to keep its various formations in a state of maximum readiness for extended periods.
Israeli sources told Channel 12 that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and members of the security cabinet learned about the decision to cancel the attack on Iran from Trump's announcement, adding: We lived through long hours of uncertainty, and Trump kept us in a state of ambiguity, and the feeling was simple... We were left alone.
In contrast, Iranian President Masoud Bezhakian said: The memorandum of understanding with America will be the focus of our foreign relations in the future, and we must adhere to what has been signed.
