نبّه المركز الوطني للأرصاد من هبوب رياح شديدة تتجاوز سرعتها 60 كم/ساعة، على محافظات بحرة (الشعيبة)، الليث، والقنفذة؛ تؤدي إلى انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية وارتفاع الأمواج. وبيّن المركز أن الحالة تستمر حتى الساعة التاسعة مساءً.
وكان المركز الوطني توقع في تقريره اليومي عن حالة الطقس أن تظل درجات الحرارة العظمى مرتفعة على أجزاء من منطقتي الشرقية والرياض، كذلك على أجزاء من منطقة مكة المكرمة. كما تؤثر الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، كذلك على أجزاء من منطقة نجران، تصل إلى انعدام أو شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على الطريق الساحلي الواصل إلى جازان. وتتأثر الرؤية الأفقية بالعوالق الترابية على الأجزاء الغربية والجنوبية الغربية للمملكة، وتكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الأجزاء الجنوبية منها.
The National Center of Meteorology has warned of strong winds exceeding 60 km/h in the provinces of Bahra (Al-Shuaiba), Al-Lith, and Al-Qunfudhah; which will lead to a complete lack of horizontal visibility and high waves. The center indicated that this condition will continue until 9 PM.
The National Center had predicted in its daily weather report that high temperatures would remain in parts of the Eastern and Riyadh regions, as well as in parts of the Makkah region. Active winds stirring up dust and sand will also affect parts of these areas, as well as parts of the Najran region, leading to a complete or near-complete lack of horizontal visibility on the coastal road leading to Jazan. Horizontal visibility is affected by dust particles in the western and southwestern parts of the Kingdom, and thunderstorm clouds with rain are forming in its southern parts.
