استمر غياب المرشد الإيراني مجتبى خامنئي في اليوم الثاني من مراسم تشييع جنازة والده المرشد الراحل علي خامنئي. وأقيمت في العاصمة طهران، اليوم الأحد، صلاة الجنازة على جثمان علي خامنئي، بمشاركة حشود كبيرة ومسؤولين إيرانيين.
وظهر في الصفّ الأول قرب النعش عدد من كبار المسؤولين الإيرانيين بينهم الرئيس مسعود بزشكيان، ورئيس مجلس الشورى كبير المفاوضين محمد باقر قاليباف، وقائد قوة القدس في الحرس الثوري الجنرال إسماعيل قآني.
وشارك في الصلاة ثلاثة من أبناء المرشد الراحل، هم: مسعود ومصطفى وميثم، بحسب ما أظهرت مشاهد بثها التلفزيون الرسمي. ولم يعرف بعد ما إن كان المرشد الحالي مجتبى خامنئي سيحضر في أي من المراسم المقامة على مدى 6 أيام.
ولم يظهر مجتبى منذ القصف الأمريكي الإسرائيلي الذي أدى إلى مقتل والده في الـ28 من شهر فبراير الماضي، في أول أيام الحرب على إيران.
وأصيب مجتبى خامنئي في الهجوم، ولم يصدر عنه منذ ذلك الحين سوى بيانات مكتوبة منسوبة له.
واحتشد جمع كبير للمشاركة في الصلاة في مصلى طهران الكبير، وغصت الشوارع المحيطة بالحشود. ومن المقرر أن يبقى جثمان علي خامنئي مسجى حتى مساء الأحد، قبل إعداده للموكب الجنائزي المقرر الإثنين في شوارع العاصمة.
وأعلنت السلطات يومي الأحد والإثنين عطلة رسمية، وتوقعت حضور ما بين 15 و20 مليون شخص في طهران وحدها.
وبعد موكب يوم غدٍ الإثنين في طهران، من المقرر أن يتوقف النعش في مدن عدة في إيران والعراق، على أن تقام مراسم الدفن الخميس في مدينة مشهد شمال شرقي إيران، مسقط رأس علي خامنئي.
وسجّي نعش خامنئي الذي وضعت عليه عمامته السوداء، وبجانبه نعوش أربعة من أفراد عائلته قتلوا معه يوم 28 فبراير مع بدء الحرب.
The absence of Iranian guide Mojtaba Khamenei continued on the second day of the funeral ceremonies for his late father, the guide Ali Khamenei. Today, Sunday, a funeral prayer was held in the capital Tehran for the body of Ali Khamenei, attended by large crowds and Iranian officials.
A number of senior Iranian officials appeared in the front row near the coffin, including President Masoud Bezhakian, Speaker of the Parliament and chief negotiator Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, and the commander of the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guard, General Ismail Qaani.
Three of the late guide's sons participated in the prayer: Masoud, Mostafa, and Meysam, according to footage broadcast by state television. It is still unknown whether the current guide Mojtaba Khamenei will attend any of the ceremonies taking place over the six days.
Mojtaba has not been seen since the American-Israeli bombing that led to his father's death on February 28, during the first days of the war on Iran.
Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the attack, and since then, he has only issued written statements attributed to him.
A large crowd gathered to participate in the prayer at the Grand Mosque of Tehran, and the surrounding streets were filled with crowds. The body of Ali Khamenei is expected to remain on display until Sunday evening, before being prepared for the funeral procession scheduled for Monday in the streets of the capital.
The authorities announced an official holiday on Sunday and Monday, expecting the attendance of between 15 and 20 million people in Tehran alone.
After the procession tomorrow, Monday, in Tehran, the coffin is scheduled to stop in several cities in Iran and Iraq, with burial ceremonies to be held on Thursday in the city of Mashhad in northeastern Iran, the birthplace of Ali Khamenei.
The coffin of Khamenei, upon which his black turban was placed, was accompanied by the coffins of four family members who were killed with him on February 28 at the start of the war.
