ألقت السلطات اليمنية القبض على خلية إرهابية حوثية متورطة في اغتيال مراسل قناتي «العربية» و«الحدث» في حضرموت الأسبوع الماضي، بحسب ما أعلنه إعلام المقاومة الوطنية اليوم (السبت).
وذكر الإعلام العسكري للمقاومة الوطنية أن الاستخبارات العامة في المقاومة الوطنية، بالتعاون مع جهاز أمن الدولة في العاصمة المؤقتة عدن، تمكنت من اعتقال اثنين، فيما تواصل ملاحقة المتهم الثالث، ضمن خلية اغتيالات اعترفت باغتيال الصحفي محمد عيضة في المكلا، وكانت تخطط لاغتيال العميد صلاح الصلاحي في عدن، مبيناً أن الخلية تعمل لصالح مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية.
وأوضح الإعلام أن الاستخبارات، وبعد كشف خلية اغتيال الشهيد العميد يحيى وحيش، رصدت جهوداً حوثية لاستدراج العميد صلاح الصلاحي، الذي غادر المخا إلى القاهرة في إجازة الشهر الماضي». وأضاف أن الصلاحي، الذي كان يقود ما يسمى «لواء الصماد» قبل مغادرته مناطق سيطرة الحوثيين وانضمامه إلى المقاومة الوطنية، تلقى اتصالات من عناصر حوثية ادعت أنها تتبع «عفاش طارق»، فوجهته الاستخبارات بمواصلة التواصل معهم ضمن خطة لاستدراج أفراد الخلية.
وأضاف أن الطرفين اتفقا على عقد لقاء في أحد فنادق عدن، وبمجرد تحديد ساعة الصفر، أبلغت الاستخبارات جهاز أمن الدولة، الذي داهم الموقع المحدد وألقى القبض على أفراد الخلية.
وكان الصحفي محمد عيضة قد اغتيل في مدينة المكلا بمحافظة حضرموت، جنوب شرقي اليمن، في 24 يونيو الماضي، إثر انفجار عبوة ناسفة زُرعت في سيارته. وبحسب شرطة حضرموت، كانت العبوة الناسفة مزروعة أسفل مقعد السائق، وانفجرت أمام المدرسة الباكستانية في محيط ملاعب البندر.
The Yemeni authorities have arrested a Houthi terrorist cell involved in the assassination of the correspondents of the "Al-Arabiya" and "Al-Hadath" channels in Hadramout last week, according to a statement from the National Resistance Media today (Saturday).
The military media of the National Resistance reported that the General Intelligence of the National Resistance, in cooperation with the State Security Agency in the temporary capital Aden, managed to arrest two individuals, while continuing to pursue the third suspect, as part of an assassination cell that confessed to the assassination of journalist Mohamed Aida in Mukalla, and was planning to assassinate Brigadier General Salah Al-Salahi in Aden, indicating that the cell operates on behalf of the Houthi terrorist militia.
The media clarified that the intelligence, after uncovering the assassination cell of the martyr Brigadier General Yahya Wuhesh, monitored Houthi efforts to lure Brigadier General Salah Al-Salahi, who had left Al-Mokha for Cairo on vacation last month. It added that Al-Salahi, who was leading what is known as the "Al-Samad Brigade" before leaving areas under Houthi control and joining the National Resistance, received calls from Houthi elements claiming to be affiliated with "Tariq Saleh," and the intelligence directed him to continue communicating with them as part of a plan to lure the cell members.
It added that both parties agreed to hold a meeting in one of the hotels in Aden, and as soon as the zero hour was determined, the intelligence informed the State Security Agency, which raided the specified location and arrested the cell members.
Journalist Mohamed Aida was assassinated in the city of Mukalla in Hadramout Governorate, southeastern Yemen, on June 24, following the explosion of an explosive device planted in his car. According to the Hadramout police, the explosive device was planted under the driver's seat and exploded in front of the Pakistani school in the vicinity of Al-Bandar playgrounds.
