فُجعت محافظة البصرة، جنوبي العراق، بمأساة مرورية جديدة حصدت أرواح عائلة بأكملها، لتعيد إلى الأذهان لوعة الفاجعة التي شهدتها المحافظة قبل أسابيع قليلة وأدت إلى مصرع نحو 20 شخصاً في حادثة سير مماثلة.
ووفقاً لما نقلته وسائل إعلام محلية، فإن الحادثة الأخيرة نتجت عن تصادم عنيف اشتركت فيه ثلاث مركبات على طريق «خور الزبير» الإستراتيجي، وأسفر في حصيلة مفجعة عن وفاة رجل وزوجته وطفليهما في مكان الحادث، في حين أُصيب أربعة أشخاص آخرين بجروح متفاوتة.
وقد سارعت فرق الإسعاف والإنقاذ إلى موقع التصادم وأخلت جثامين الضحايا الأربعة،
ونقلت المصابين إلى المستشفى القريب لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة، وأكدت المصادر الطبية أن حالتهم الصحية باتت مستقرة حالياً. وفي غضون ذلك، أشارت التحقيقات المرورية الأولية إلى أن الخطأ البشري كان وراء الكارثة، إذ تبين أن أحد السائقين يتحمل المسؤولية الكاملة عن وقوع التصادم.
The province of Basra, in southern Iraq, was devastated by a new traffic tragedy that claimed the lives of an entire family, reminding everyone of the sorrow from the tragedy that occurred in the province a few weeks ago, which resulted in the deaths of about 20 people in a similar traffic incident.
According to local media reports, the recent incident resulted from a violent collision involving three vehicles on the strategic "Khor Al-Zubair" road, leading to a tragic toll of a man, his wife, and their two children dying at the scene, while four other individuals sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Rescue and ambulance teams rushed to the crash site and removed the bodies of the four victims,
and transported the injured to the nearby hospital for necessary medical care. Medical sources confirmed that their health condition is currently stable. Meanwhile, preliminary traffic investigations indicated that human error was behind the disaster, as it was found that one of the drivers bore full responsibility for the collision.
