دانت الإمارات بأشد العبارات الاعتداءات الإرهابية الغادرة بطائرات مسيرة قادمة من الأراضي العراقية، والتي استهدفت إحداها يوم الأحد الماضي محطة براكة للطاقة النووية وأصابت مولداً كهربائياً خارج المحيط الداخلي للمحطة.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء الإماراتية «وام» عن بيان لوزارة الخارجية، استنكار الإمارات العربية المتحدة بأشد العبارات ورفضها المطلق للاعتداءات الإرهابية الآثمة المنطلقة من الأراضي العراقية والتي تستهدف المنشآت المدنية الحيوية في دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، في انتهاك صارخ لسيادتها ولمجالها الجوي، وخرق واضح لأحكام القانون الدولي وللقانون الدولي الإنساني وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
وشددت الوزارة على ضرورة التزام حكومة جمهورية العراق بمنع كافة الأعمال العدائية الصادرة من أراضيها بشكل عاجل دون قيد أو شرط، وضرورة التعامل مع تلك التهديدات بشكل عاجل وفوري ومسؤول بما ينسجم مع القوانين والمواثيق الدولية والإقليمية ذات الصلة.
وأكدت الوزارة أهمية اضطلاع العراق بدوره في ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة، بما يحفظ سيادته ويعزز مكانته كشريك فاعل ومسؤول في محيطه الإقليمي.
وكانت الإمارات، قد أعلنت أمس، نتائج التحقيقات المتعلقة بالاعتداء السافر على محطة براكة للطاقة النووية، في السابع عشر من الشهر الجاري، مؤكدة أنه وبعد التتبع والرصد التقني تبين أن الطائرات المسيرة الثلاث التي تم التعامل بنجاح مع اثنتين منها، فيما أصابت الثالثة مولدا كهربائيا خارج المحيط الداخلي للمحطة في ذلك التاريخ، بالإضافة إلى الطائرات التي تم اعتراضها لاحقا، كانت جميعها قادمة من الأراضي العراقية.
The UAE condemned in the strongest terms the treacherous terrorist attacks by drones coming from Iraqi territory, one of which targeted the Barakah nuclear power plant last Sunday and hit an electrical generator outside the internal perimeter of the plant.
The Emirates News Agency "WAM" reported a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressing the United Arab Emirates' strongest condemnation and absolute rejection of the wicked terrorist attacks launched from Iraqi territory that target vital civilian facilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in a blatant violation of its sovereignty and airspace, and a clear breach of international law, international humanitarian law, and the United Nations Charter.
The ministry emphasized the necessity for the Government of the Republic of Iraq to urgently prevent all hostile acts emanating from its territory unconditionally, and the need to address those threats in an urgent, immediate, and responsible manner in accordance with relevant international and regional laws and agreements.
The ministry affirmed the importance of Iraq playing its role in consolidating security and stability in the region, preserving its sovereignty, and enhancing its position as an active and responsible partner in its regional environment.
Yesterday, the UAE announced the results of the investigations related to the brazen attack on the Barakah nuclear power plant on the seventeenth of this month, confirming that after tracking and technical monitoring, it was found that the three drones, two of which were successfully dealt with, while the third hit an electrical generator outside the internal perimeter of the plant on that date, along with the drones that were intercepted later, all came from Iraqi territory.
