توفي، اليوم (الإثنين)، اللواء كمال مدبولي والد رئيس مجلس الوزراء المصري الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي.
ومن المقرر أداء صلاة الجنازة عليه اليوم بمسجد المشير طنطاوي بالتجمع الخامس بالقاهرة الجديدة وتلقي العزاء غداً الثلاثاء.
من هو اللواء كمال مدبولي؟
يذكر أن اللواء كمال مدبولي عسكري مصري وأحد قادة حرب أكتوبر وقائد سلاح المدفعية، من مواليد 11 أكتوبر 1935 بمحافظة القاهرة، وعمل قائد كتيبة مدفعية اثناء حرب أكتوبر 1973 برتبة مقدم أركان حرب.

التحق بالكلية الحربية عام 1953 وتخرج منها في 1 أبريل عام 1956 ضابط بسلاح المدفعية.
وبعد انتهاء حرب أكتوبر 1973 كرمه الرئيس الراحل أنور السادات ومنحه - وهو برتبة مقدم - نوط الجمهورية العسكري، ثم رقي إلى رتبة العقيد وعين قائد لواء مدفعية، ثم قائد مدفعية فرقة مشاة وهو برتبة عميد
ثم رقي إلى رتبة اللواء عام 1984 وعين أستاذ كرسي المدفعية بأكاديمية ناصر العسكرية العليا، وانتهت خدمته في القوات المسلحة بالإحالة للتقاعد اعتباراً من 29 يونيو 1987.
حصل على العديد من الأوسمة والنياشين تقديراً لمجمل أعماله في خدمة وطنه وقواته المسلحة على مدار 31 عاما،

The funeral prayer is scheduled to be held today at the Field Marshal Tantawi Mosque in the Fifth Settlement in New Cairo, and condolences will be received tomorrow, Tuesday.
Who is Major General Kamal Madbouly?
It is worth mentioning that Major General Kamal Madbouly was an Egyptian military officer and one of the leaders of the October War, serving as the commander of the artillery corps. He was born on October 11, 1935, in Cairo Governorate, and served as the commander of an artillery battalion during the October War of 1973 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

He joined the Military Academy in 1953 and graduated on April 1, 1956, as an officer in the artillery corps.
After the end of the October War in 1973, he was honored by the late President Anwar Sadat and awarded the Military Order of the Republic while holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was then promoted to Colonel and appointed as the commander of an artillery brigade, and later as the artillery commander of an infantry division with the rank of Brigadier General.
He was promoted to the rank of Major General in 1984 and appointed as the Chair of Artillery at the Nasser Higher Military Academy, and his service in the armed forces ended with his retirement effective June 29, 1987.
He received numerous medals and decorations in recognition of his overall contributions to his country and its armed forces over 31 years,
most notably the Order of the Republic, the Military Order of Evacuation, the Military Order of the Republic, the Silver Jubilee Medal for the Liberation of Sinai, and the Silver Jubilee Medal for the October War.
