أكد مساعد مدرب مانشستر سيتي بيب ليندرز رحيل نجم الوسط البرتغالي برناردو سيلفا عن صفوف السماوي بنهاية الموسم الحالي.
وينتهي عقد اللاعب البالغ من العمر 31 عاماً بنهاية الموسم، وقد ارتبط اسمه بنادي برشلونة متصدر الدوري الإسباني، ونادي يوفنتوس الإيطالي، وأندية أمريكية.
لكل قصة نهاية
وقال بيب ليندرز في تصريحات نقلتها شبكة «بي بي سي»: «برناردو سيلفا لاعب فريد من نوعه، طريقة تحكمه في المباريات، وطريقة تحركه، وطريقة استلامه للكرة، وطريقة قيادته، وطريقة رؤيته للحلول، كل هذه الأشياء يتميز بها، لكن لكل قصة جيدة نهاية».
صعوبة تعويضه
وأضاف مساعد المدرب بيب غوارديولا: «عندما لا يشارك برناردو سيلفا في مباراة واحدة، ترى مدى افتقاده، وهذه مباراة واحدة، تخيلوا موسماً كاملاً، كما أنه لا يمكنك استبداله بلاعب يمتلك نفس قدراته، لأنه غير موجود».
وداع مرتقب
وختم حديثه قائلاً: «لكن لكل قصة جيدة نهاية، وآمل أن يستمتع بالأشهر الأخيرة - فهي ستة أسابيع فقط - وأن يحظى بوداع جيد».
مسيرة حافلة مع السيتي
وكان برناردو سيلفا قد انضم إلى السيتي في عام 2017 قادماً من موناكو الفرنسي، ومنذ ذلك الحين شارك في 450 مباراة، وتوج بـ18 لقباً، آخرها الفوز بكأس كاراباو الشهر الماضي على حساب أرسنال.
Manchester City assistant coach Pep Linders confirmed the departure of Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva from the ranks of the Sky Blues at the end of the current season.
The contract of the 31-year-old player expires at the end of the season, and his name has been linked to Spanish league leaders Barcelona, Italian club Juventus, and American teams.

Pep Linders stated in remarks reported by the BBC: "Bernardo Silva is a unique player; his way of controlling matches, his movement, his way of receiving the ball, his leadership, and his vision for solutions, all these things set him apart. But every good story has an end."
The difficulty of replacing him
Assistant coach Pep Guardiola added: "When Bernardo Silva doesn't participate in a match, you see how much he is missed, and that's just one match. Imagine a whole season. You also can't replace him with a player who has the same abilities because he simply doesn't exist."
Anticipated farewell
He concluded his remarks by saying: "But every good story has an end, and I hope he enjoys the last few months - it's only six weeks - and has a good farewell."
A remarkable career with City
Bernardo Silva joined City in 2017 from French club Monaco, and since then he has participated in 450 matches and won 18 titles, the latest being the Carabao Cup victory last month against Arsenal.
