فيما يستمر التصعيد في مقاطعة كردفان بين قوات الجيش السوداني والدعم السريع، أفاد وزير الإعلام والمتحدث باسم حكومة ولاية شمال كردفان عبدالمطلب عبدالعال، بأن الدعم السريع تواصل استهداف «الطريق القومي»، الذي يشكل محوراً إستراتيجياً يربط مدينة الأبيض (شمال كردفان) بالدلنج (جنوب كردفان).
وأكد أن قوات الدعمتقصف شاحنات تجارية تحمل بضائع وأدوية متجهة إلى الولاية.
وقال في تصريحات تلفزيونية، اليوم(الإثنين)، إن الشاحنات المستهدفة لا علاقة لها بأي مؤن عسكرية أو أسلحة أو ذخائر، لافتا إلى أنها تحمل أدوية منقذة للحياة ومواد غذائية مخصصة لمواطنين أجبرتهم ظروف الحرب على النزوح إلى الأبيض التي تستضيف حالياً العدد الأكبر من النازحين في البلاد. وأكد أن حكومة شمال كردفان تدين وتستنكر الانتهاكات المتكررة التي تستهدف الأعيان المدنية وحياة المواطنين.
ودعا عبد العال الأمم المتحدة ومنظمات الإغاثة إلى مضاعفة جهودها الإنسانية في ظل تزايد أعداد النازحين القادمين من ولايات كردفان ودارفور.
يذكر أن هجمات المسيرات الإستراتيجية للدعم السريع تزايدت على شاحنات في الطريق الرابط بين ولايتي النيل الأبيض وولاية شمال كردفان، بين مناطق أم روابة والرهد والأبيض، وذلك على مدى الأيام الأربعة الماضية.
وانتشرت قوات الدعم السريع شرقا في إقليم كردفان الغني بالنفط، والمقسم إلى ثلاث ولايات، بعد سيطرتها أواخر أكتوبر الماضي على مدينة الفاشر، آخر معاقل الجيش السوداني في إقليم دارفور.
ويشكّل إقليم كردفان الشاسع والمعروف بالزراعة وتربية الماشية، صلة وصل إستراتيجية لحركة الوحدات العسكرية وعلى المستوى اللوجستي، إذ يقع بين المناطق التي يسيطر عليها الجيش شمالاً وشرقاً ووسطاً ودارفور.
As the escalation continues in the Kordofan region between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, the Minister of Information and spokesperson for the North Kordofan state government, Abdel-Muttalib Abdel-Aal, reported that the Rapid Support Forces continue to target the "national road," which is a strategic axis connecting the city of Al-Obeid (North Kordofan) with Delang (South Kordofan).
He confirmed that the Rapid Support Forces are shelling commercial trucks carrying goods and medicines heading to the state.
In televised statements today (Monday), he stated that the targeted trucks have no connection to any military supplies, weapons, or ammunition, noting that they carry life-saving medicines and food supplies intended for citizens who have been forced to flee to Al-Obeid, which currently hosts the largest number of displaced persons in the country. He affirmed that the North Kordofan government condemns and denounces the repeated violations targeting civilian objects and the lives of citizens.
Abdel-Aal called on the United Nations and relief organizations to intensify their humanitarian efforts in light of the increasing number of displaced persons coming from the Kordofan and Darfur states.
It is worth mentioning that the strategic drone attacks by the Rapid Support Forces have increased on trucks along the road linking the White Nile state and North Kordofan, between the areas of Um Rawaba, Al-Rahad, and Al-Obeid, over the past four days.
The Rapid Support Forces have spread eastward in the oil-rich Kordofan region, which is divided into three states, after taking control of the city of Al-Fasher, the last stronghold of the Sudanese army in the Darfur region, in late October.
The vast Kordofan region, known for agriculture and livestock farming, serves as a strategic link for the movement of military units and on a logistical level, as it lies between the areas controlled by the army to the north, east, and center, and Darfur.
