أعلن الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي، في منشور عبر تطبيق تيليغرام، اليوم (الأحد)، أن روسيا شنت هجوما جويا مكثفا على أوكرانيا خلال الليل، استخدمت فيه نحو 500 طائرة مسيرة وأكثر من 40 صاروخا، مما أسفر عن مقتل 4 أشخاص على الأقل وإصابة العشرات.
موسكو تشن أعنف الضربات الجوية
استهدف الهجوم العاصمة كييف بشكل رئيسي، إلى جانب مناطق زابوريجيا، خميلنيتسكي، سومي، ميكولاييف، تشيرنيهيف، وأوديسا، في واحدة من أعنف الضربات الجوية منذ بدء الحرب الشاملة في فبراير 2022.
زيلينسكي يُندد بالهجوم الروسي
وأشار زيلينسكي إلى أن الهجوم الروسي، الذي وصفه بـ«الدنيء»، ألحق أضرارا جسيمة بمنشآت البنية التحتية المدنية، بما في ذلك مصنع للمطاط ومبانٍ سكنية في كييف، إذ شوهدت فرق الإنقاذ تعمل وسط حطام مبنى سكني تضرر بشدة جراء الانفجارات.
ونشرت وكالات عالمية صورا تُظهر فرق الإنقاذ وهي تبحث عن ناجين بين الأنقاض في ضواحي العاصمة، إذ دُمرت نوافذ المباني وتضررت سيارات متوقفة بفعل الحطام المتساقط.
وكتب زيلينسكي على «تيليغرام»: «هذا الهجوم الخسيس جاء كتتويج افتراضي لأسبوع الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، وهكذا تُظهر روسيا موقفها الحقيقي»، مضيفا أن موسكو تريد مواصلة القتال والقتل، ولا تستحق سوى أشد الضغوط العالمية».
توعد برد أوكراني
وأضاف أن الكرملين يستفيد من استمرار الحرب والإرهاب طالما يمتلك إيرادات الطاقة وأسطولا بحريا غير خاضع للرقابة، كما أكد أن أوكرانيا ستواصل الرد العسكري لقطع هذه الموارد عن روسيا وفرض الدبلوماسية كحل.
رسالة زيلينسكي للمجتمع الدولي
وحث زيلينسكي المجتمع الدولي، بما في ذلك الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا ومجموعتا السبع والعشرين، على اتخاذ إجراءات حاسمة لوقف استيراد الموارد الروسية، خصوصا الطاقة، التي تمول الحرب.
ودعا إلى دعم جهود الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب لفرض عقوبات صارمة على موسكو، مشيرا إلى أن «الوقت قد حان منذ زمن لاتخاذ إجراءات حاسمة».
ويأتي هذا الهجوم بعد أيام من لقاء زيلينسكي مع ترمب على هامش الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة، إذ ناقشا تعزيز الدعم الدولي لأوكرانيا في مواجهة التصعيد الروسي.
تفاصيل الهجوم الروسي على أوكرانيا
ووفقا لتقارير عسكرية أوكرانية، تمكنت الدفاعات الجوية من إسقاط معظم الطائرات المسيرة والصواريخ (568 طائرة مسيرة و43 صاروخا)، لكن شدة الهجوم أجهدت القدرات الدفاعية المحدودة لأوكرانيا.
وأفادت مصادر محلية بأن الحطام الناتج عن إسقاط الطائرات المسيرة تسبب في حرائق وأضرار إضافية في المناطق السكنية، كما أغلقت بولندا، الدولة المجاورة، مجالها الجوي بالقرب من مدينتي لوبلين ورييزوف، وأقلعت طائراتها المقاتلة كإجراء احترازي حتى انتهاء التهديد.
تشير التقديرات إلى أن روسيا كثفت إنتاجها من الطائرات المسيرة، مما يزيد من الضغط على الدفاعات الأوكرانية.
ومع استمرار الحرب، تواجه أوكرانيا تحديات في الحصول على أنظمة دفاع جوي إضافية مثل باتريوت، إذ أعلن زيلينسكي نشر نظام إضافي من إسرائيل وتوقع وصول اثنين آخرين هذا الخريف.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced in a post on Telegram today (Sunday) that Russia launched an intensive air attack on Ukraine overnight, using about 500 drones and more than 40 missiles, resulting in the deaths of at least 4 people and injuries to dozens.
Russia Launches the Most Intense Airstrikes
The attack primarily targeted the capital Kyiv, along with the regions of Zaporizhzhia, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, and Odesa, in one of the most intense airstrikes since the full-scale war began in February 2022.
Zelensky Condemns the Russian Attack
Zelensky pointed out that the Russian attack, which he described as "despicable," caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure, including a rubber factory and residential buildings in Kyiv, where rescue teams were seen working amid the debris of a heavily damaged residential building due to the explosions.
Global agencies published photos showing rescue teams searching for survivors among the rubble in the suburbs of the capital, as windows of buildings were shattered and parked cars were damaged by falling debris.
Zelensky wrote on Telegram: "This despicable attack came as a virtual culmination of the week of the United Nations General Assembly, and this is how Russia shows its true stance," adding that Moscow wants to continue fighting and killing, and deserves only the strongest global pressure.
Threat of Ukrainian Response
He added that the Kremlin benefits from the continuation of war and terrorism as long as it has energy revenues and an unmonitored naval fleet, also confirming that Ukraine will continue its military response to cut off these resources from Russia and impose diplomacy as a solution.
Zelensky's Message to the International Community
Zelensky urged the international community, including the United States, Europe, and the G7, to take decisive action to stop importing Russian resources, especially energy, which funds the war.
He called for support for U.S. President Donald Trump's efforts to impose strict sanctions on Moscow, noting that "the time has long come for decisive action."
This attack comes days after Zelensky met with Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, where they discussed enhancing international support for Ukraine in the face of Russian escalation.
Details of the Russian Attack on Ukraine
According to Ukrainian military reports, air defenses managed to shoot down most of the drones and missiles (568 drones and 43 missiles), but the intensity of the attack strained Ukraine's limited defensive capabilities.
Local sources reported that debris from the downed drones caused additional fires and damage in residential areas, while Poland, the neighboring country, closed its airspace near the cities of Lublin and Rzeszów, and scrambled its fighter jets as a precaution until the threat passed.
Estimates indicate that Russia has intensified its production of drones, increasing pressure on Ukrainian defenses.
As the war continues, Ukraine faces challenges in obtaining additional air defense systems like Patriot, as Zelensky announced the deployment of an additional system from Israel and expected the arrival of two more this fall.
