Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank today (Tuesday), according to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, confirming that it is a "decisive and unusual" operation. It stated that Israeli military reinforcements invaded the city and raided the Al-Ajouli exchange company.

Several Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets and suffered from suffocation due to toxic tear gas during the incursion of Israeli army forces into the heart of the city. The Israeli forces arrested a number of Palestinians while raiding several exchange, jewelry, and bank companies.

The Israeli incursion involved a large number of vehicles and soldiers, and the Palestinian Red Crescent announced that Israel is preventing ambulance crews from reaching the area. The Red Crescent reported that 18 people were injured in clashes with Israeli forces in Ramallah, including a 12-year-old child. Local sources indicated that 3 citizens were injured by live ammunition near the vegetable market in the center of Ramallah, while Israeli snipers took positions on several rooftops.

Palestinian media confirmed that the Israeli army stormed the Al-Manara roundabout in the center of Ramallah. Local sources reported that Israeli forces invaded the city center, raided an exchange shop, and fired live ammunition and sound bombs towards the citizens.

The occupation army fired rubber bullets at a vehicle carrying journalists, causing damage to the vehicle, and soldiers suppressed participants in the national day for the retrieval of the bodies of martyrs held by the occupation authorities at the Baladna center in the city of Al-Bireh.
