أعلنت وزارة الخزانة الأمريكية اليوم، رفع لوائح العقوبات المفروضة على سورية، موضحة أن القرار سيدخل حيز التنفيذ بدءًا من يوم غد الثلاثاء.
وذكرت الوزارة في بيان نشرته على موقعها الإلكتروني أن مكتب مراقبة الأصول الأجنبية (أوفاك) أجرى التعديلات اللازمة لشطب العقوبات على سورية من المدونة الفيدرالية، وفقًا للأمر التنفيذي الصادر في 30 يونيو الماضي بشأن رفع العقوبات عن سورية.
The U.S. Department of the Treasury announced today the lifting of sanctions imposed on Syria, stating that the decision will take effect starting tomorrow, Tuesday.
The department mentioned in a statement published on its website that the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) made the necessary adjustments to remove the sanctions on Syria from the federal register, in accordance with the executive order issued on June 30 regarding the lifting of sanctions on Syria.
